Just purchased a 2025 Ford Mustang GT V8 Convertable from Ford Packenham. We love it. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely buy from them again as they have a huge collection of beautiful cars to choose from. My only gripe was I was going to have a ceramic coating applied to protect my investment. We were due to collect the car at 1pm, it was 9am and they hadn't even started. The pre ceramic coating process including clay bar should have taken about 3-4 hrs, then the ceramic coating, if applied properly would have taken about 3-4 hrs. The most crucial part of the process is the curing stage that should be at least 48hrs with a minimum of 24hrs in a controlled environment. In the 1st 24hrs it should not get wet or be subjected to environmental contamination such as dust, pollen or bug splatter. Any foreign matter can interfere with the curing process, yet they were going to let me drive it home at 1pm which would have compromised my new car. Luckily I'd done my research and was able to cancel the coating. As I'm writing this review, Jims detailing is currently applying the ceramic coating at my house. Selling excellent cars is what Ford Packenham do, but I'd advise getting your ceramic coating else where.
I can't thank the team at Ford Pakenham enough. I had an unexpected issue pop up with my car and called in out of the blue. They were incredibly accommodating even with a fully booked day, went above and beyond to fit me in, they got me back on the road in no time. Fantastic, efficient service—five stars!
Extremely disappointing experience with Ford Pakenham customer service.nnMy original service for My Ford Everest was booked for 30/01/2026 with valet pickup, which was missed without proper communication. It was then rescheduled to 03/02/2026, causing unnecessary inconvenience.nnBefore the service, I raised multiple concerns over the phone, including an engine warning light and a mileage issue and tail gate malfunction. At the time of service, I was told they did not have enough time to check the mileage issue and that it was not listed on the job card, so I was asked to reschedule yet again.nnMore concerning, even for the engine warning light , I was told by receptionist they could not connect the vehicle to Ford’s system and reschedule it again for another day as they don’t have enough time. This is unacceptable for an authorised Ford dealership, especially when an RACV technician arranged by Ford was previously able to connect to the vehicle without any issue.nnThe tailgate malfunction issue was also written on the job card but completely ignored. 3rd timenn*Once payment was taken as this was a valet service, I asked update for my reported concerns which they didn’t bother to check. When I followed up, the receptionist kept transferring my calls between departments, none of which listened or took ownership of the issues.nLater asking me to reschedule for another day leaving me with no other choice.nnIf Ford dealerships cannot properly diagnose major warning lights or follow what is clearly reported, it raises serious questions about service standards. Paying dealership prices should mean access to proper tools, time, and accountability — not repeated excuses and delays.nnThis experience has seriously reduced my confidence in Ford Australia and its authorised service network. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
Our experience with Ford Pakenham has been a pleasure. Lachie and the manager Ryan could not have made our new car purchase any better. The whole process was smooth and professional. If your in the market for a new Ford car, I recommend going out of your way and buying from Ford Pakenham. Exchanged my Mustang for a Raptor which I love. Thanks heaps you guys run a tight shit. We will be back for any future purchases
Seriously!! These guys using ford name and hiring low class mechanics that don’t have any idea how to fix other problems than only changing engine oil and filter. The poorest service/ experience i ever had i have a 2018 ford and they charged me hundreds of dollars only to tell me that FORD stops making the wire my car needs now its not fixable even not aftermarket. Can anyone says it make sense!! Even they dont know what it called? When i ask for detailed information and they made excuses that they will email me.
