We've been using the cigarette lighter for phone charging no issue. Sent the SUV for 180k service, no issue until we tried to charge phone using the cigarette lighter again few days later, the cigarette lighter not charging phone anymore. Tried a few other chargers to confirm it was the cigarette lighter not working, called Pakenham Ford and was told that the issue happened after the service so not their fault, and I can book for investigation that will cost over $250 excluding any repairs required. Guess it's my fault not picking up the issue immediately after the service, but still, not happy
Lachie the salesman was very helpful, very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy at all. He spent time going through all the different models and ensured we got the right vehicle for our needs.nEverything went smoothly and would be more than happy to do buisness with him again.
We recently were referred to Ryan Dix and Lachlan Murrell and Pakenham Ford. From our first greeting to understanding our needs of the vehicle we were after and meeting those expectations far exceeded our requirements and removed any biases of purchasing direct from the dealership. The customer service from both and the larger team were far better than we imagined especially having a poor reception and customer service from a different branded dealership in our local area.nThe team were not pushy, allowed us to test drive the our choice of vehicle with a thorough walkthrough beforehand.nAdditional options and extras were also discussed and at all times, this was not a hassle. Lachlan was accommodating and ensured we were happy with our needs to ensure we were purchasing exactly what we wanted. I never ever believed I would be driving a Ford. How things change. Thanks to the team at Pakenham Ford: Lachlan, Ryan, Amanda and Jackson. We are super excited about our new Everest purchase.nnFinally, the communications throughout including having the options to have a partial, semi or complete run down of the vehicle on pickup was awesome. As it was our first Ford and major upgrade we opted in for the full walkthrough and it did not disappoint.
We rang regarding a Ford Escape and were told It was available so we drove an hour to see the car. We were not able to take it for a test drive without a member of staff even after giving all our details and leaving our car there. The car had a loud clunking noise in the front end and the air conditioning didn’t work. This car was definitely not in a saleable condition because of these obvious faults that should have been addressed before putting out on the sales lot. Overall a very unsatisfactory experience and would not recommend this dealer.
I purchased a Ford Everest Sport from this dealer. The sales experience was great—I even left a 5-star review at the time. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after that.nnThe vehicle has had numerous issues, including:n• When connected to Apple CarPlay, the infotainment system randomly shuts down during calls, disconnects Bluetooth, and reboots after a few seconds. This happens repeatedly, sometimes within 1–15 minutes.n• AM radio switches on by itself.n• The fuel gauge drops rapidly sometimes a bar every 20 km until half tank, then normalises.n• Alarm triggers randomly without reason.n• Air conditioning doesn’t work properly in Auto mode and must be used manually.n• The 2nd and 3rd row seats lack proper heating and cooling; the roof vents are just blowers, leaving rear passengers dependent on the front dash heater in cold weather.n• The 3rd row speaker doesn’t work. For nearly six months I was told it was working, only to later be told it’s a dummy speaker.nnI returned the car three times for repairs even involving a Ford Australia case manager, but none of the issues were fixed. Instead, they repeatedly reported “No fault found” despite me demonstrating the problems in person.nnIn summary, the dealer concealed these problems at the time of sale and made no genuine effort to resolve them afterward. They simply push customers away.nnHonestly they don't even deserve a single star.nnIf you’re considering buying a car from this dealer, think twice—you may end up regretting it and suffering long after the purchase.
