We want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional work Oswald Homes did in building our dream home in Dalkeith. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the construction was completed well on time which is a remarkable. A builder friend who recently visited our new home praised the construction, stating that, "Everywhere I look, it is quality." This is a strong testament on the excellence of every aspect of the work. Since we first moved into the house, we have numerous strangers complimenting on the street appeal of the house and some of them ask for references. We also noted passerbys taking photos of our house. These are altogether rather flattering. From initial concept plan, approvals, construction and final handover, the journey was an exciting and enjoyable one. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the project team members Marek, Kestryn, Michal, Shane, Dave, Steve and Brook for their wholehearted contribution to the project's success. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. We are thrilled with the end product and will always treasure the experience of building our dream home with Oswald Homes. We wanted a cubist home with mid century features throughout internally. Mixing cedar, rustic face brick and render, we wanted lots of light in our home and looking out the window to our backyard, a very lush landscape. We've had a growing family over the last number of years with our design catering perfectly to this. The construction team were great throughout the build of our home meeting with us weekly to discuss progress. The trades and contractors were very friendly as we had to make a couple of changes/additions once we were at site as we brought in more ideas to what we wanted. This is a home we could live in forever but look forward to building another home with Oswald Homes in the future.
I am 100% not the easiest client, but Marek was able to quickly nail down what we were after. Oswald's architect Michal then took my disjointed ideas and put them together into a wonderful design. Kestryn has been completely unflappable and has added the style and mood I wanted but couldn't articulate. Tony has answered all of my endless questions. All of the on-site team have been friendly and made us feel part of our build. Thank you team for giving us a home nearly! that we can't wait to move into.Services: Interior design
