Perfect for morning stroll or chill by the river and have bbq
In a lot of ways, this is an amazing park. But it is not very disabled friendly. Sometimes, I have to use a wheel chair the foot parth that runs along the park has nothing stopping someone in a wheelchair from falling straight into the water.nnThat being said. The West End Fire Festival that is held there I strongly recommend. It's not just for the handycappable.
We bought meat & veg from Harris Farm supermarket nearby, and BBQ in Orleigh park. Loacated in city with beautiful & peaceful view.
Great park for recreation and other relaxing activities such as picnics and BBQ s etc ! Riverside aspect s is great! A city cat ferry terminal is nearby! There is only a few picnic tables available so be early if you need a tablenToilets are nearby! The fig trees which adorn the park simply magnificent
This is such a lovely park. It has nice playgrounds for all ages with swings, slides or tube to climb. The council keeps the park in a very good condition. The grass is beautiful and clean. Trees are awesome and perfect for climbing.nnIt also has a nice view of the river and it is great to come with friends or family for a picnic or just for having a relaxing time or party. Many people celebrate birthdays here.nnYou can get there riding your bike or by driving. There is plenty of space to park but it gets very busy sometimes.nnThere are toilets always very clean. There is an area for working out.
