My son loved going up the climbing frame and down the slide. A decent sized play area next to the Orion shopping centre and opposite the lagoon. We came at a quiet time which was perfect as it wasn't overly busy. I can imagine this place gets really busy during the summer months.
Awesome place to visit.plenty option for shopping .Different options for eating. Beautiful play area for kids.swimming pool for everyone. shower facility available there. clean public toilets ..there are Different activities on special occasions like Christmas, new year ,Easters etc.
This was my first time visiting this VERY large centre. I only stayed in the Orion Main Street precinct. It was lovely and clean and very accessible. Every store was tenanted and there were plenty of customers around. My issue was the lack of directories or place information. I had an appointment at a specific place, which has an address, but that becomes meaningless once you get there. There's no searchable directories to help, nor landmarks, except for the major retailers. There doesn't appear to be enough car parking available for the size of the centre. There is a definite lack of disabled parking. The disabled toilets are also used as parents rooms, so highly in demand. There are not enough toilets in the centre.
Very nice shopping centre, with big swimming pool. Suitable for all families, especially with small children. Highly recommended.
Nice design but unfortunately limited options for fruit and vegetables and meat. You have to rely on the two supermarkets for these- and even they have limited options compared to their Sydney counterparts. There is however a wonderful playground outside for children and two good coffee outlets. While there's a few restaurants etc they dint seem to be the best quality from reviews I've read. The food court is pathetic really.
Great selection of shops weirdly segregated into individual buildings. Road through the middle is completely unnecessary and would be better a and open mall Parking is good size with great signage. Attached playground is good for 5+ and easy access to the Lagoon
Good mall with a nice variety of shops and services. I don't mind it being spread out as it gives shoppers a chance to get steps in. There is a good amount of parking around but can get pretty packed quickly. Still missing some of the big names such as K-Mart and Officeworks.
Expansive property, not great if you want to quickly run in and grab something, but good variety of specialties for a big shopping day. Car parking is a little bit complicated if you’re not familiar with the layout of the centre. Much if the parking is unshaded.
Visited from interstate on a day where there was a great little outdoor market on the streets too Friendly staff at the shops I visited & great eating out options too! Went to a Thai place with extremely good food for dinner with friends...which was lovely! Great outdoor areas with pools & parklands too making it a very pleasing place to visit!
