Peter, our lovely host, went above and beyond to ensure our group was well looked after and all our needs met with a smile! Very flexible with room options. Rooms comfy and clean. Excellent food: fresh, delicious and generous servings. So happy we chose to come here!

The meals served here are second to none. The beef and reef was delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended to everyone. You will 'NOT' go away disappointed.

After a long day we turned up and started looking for somewhere to stay. First place we found and what a find! The price was amazing and while the rooms were small they were outstanding value - warm, comfortable - everything you need for an overnighter. We ate in the restaurant and that was much better than we'd dared to hope for - I'd go back just for the buffet. Definitely kid friendly, lots of little ones running around but they weren't a problem and added to the welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

Clean tidy rooms, a great buffet dinner with spit roast beef in the restaurant. Yum! Made the mistake of not leaving enough room for dessert, so missed out on the pavlova and cheese cake and other goodies, silly me. Someone else paid the bill, so that was a bonus, but the menu prices looked comparable to other Kaitaia restaurants. A good place for weary traveller to stop for a night.
