I’ve never received poorer customer service from an optometrist. I trialed OPSM for the first time recently and was left infuriated with their service. I was charged $50 for a visual acuity assessment, something that has never cost me out of pocket expense and that I was not informed of prior to the assessment. I was then assured that I would have this $50 subtracted from my contact lense purchase. On attempting to buy my contact lenses online, I needed to complete the date that I had my eyes tested (despite being with the company and documented on my account) and after complying with this and paying the fee, I expected that my contact lenses would arrive. When I queried why my order hadn’t been dispatched, I was told that I hadn’t selected ‘yes’ to confirm that I had a prescription (as though anyone would make that up) and documented the expiry date. I sent an email through confirming the information and stating that I did not have an expiry date for my prescription (this was an optional component of filling out the order anyway) and I was therefore denied my purchase!!! I’m so relieved that after hearing about all of their additional hidden costs that I didn’t buy my glasses there because I’ve now had them for weeks thanks to Specsavers. I will certainly be warning everyone I know off OPSM.

Terrible service, never again. I went to OPSM and the parking was a bit tricky. So I rang them at 10.30 and was told that a couple of minutes was fine. I arrived in the store 7 minutes late than my appointment and was told “I’m not sure but you cannot do the full testing, you might have to come back at another day”. (Exact word from Simmy) what a “wonderful “ service. Do you expect your customer to beg you for a service or should you look for a way to help them?

Went there yesterday to have sunglasses we bought there a few years readjusted and the lady told us to sit down and started to work on them, shortly after her manager asked her to help another customer leaving is waiting indefinitely!! We ended up asking for our glasses back which were left on the work bench and left the store. Unbelievable!! You would expect that the manager would reassign another staff member to work on our glasses if the lady was needed elsewhere. Not first time we had a bad experience at OPSM chadstone.

Not impressed at all! I have visited OPSM Chadstone more than once, and thinking I would give them another chance, they keep disappointing me! I purchased a pair of glasses and I find out that they only have one set of sunnies in stock, and it was the one on display! I have never been to a store where they only stock only 1 pair of glasses! Every time I had a question about my glasses/sunglasses, staff became very agitated and rude. Customer service is terrible. Staff were not attentive to customers. For a store located at Chadstone - The Fashion Captial, I thought they would go beyond customer expectations, but they disappointed. I will not be returning to the store.
