I went in today and needed a new pair of multi focal glasses. They tested my eyes and within 1 hr was fitted with great pair of glasses . Also great customer service and at my pace. I recommend this store as prices were very reasonable too. Give them a try..

Poor Customer Experience I arrived at the store at 5.50pm on Thursday night to finalise the fitting and purchase of my daughters glasses. The store front door was partially closed over. The OPSM website lists the store as being open from 9am to 7pm for a Thursday. When I walked in and asked if the store was open the young store attendant said "No, but what is it you want". After explaining the situation I was told that I could have a look around. 5 minutes later I had selected a pair of frames and approached the two young attendants at the counter (who were very busy eating there takeaway food). I asked if the frames could be adjusted and at what points, I also asked what would suit my daughter best. I was told they could be adjusted slightly but then given 3 brands to look at without any specific frames or detail given. At this point the young attendant had taken another mouthful (now 5.55pm) of her takeaway food and said that she wasn't actually working now and that I would have to come back at another time. I was an obvious inconvenience and felt as though I was granted a favour by being allowed to wander the store, asking questions it seems was simply not on the menu. The website advertises the store is open until 7pm. If this is the case the staff need to be informed of this fact. Otherwise the website needs to be adjusted to reflect the actual operation. If the store closes at 6pm, then I am not sure the staff should be taking the liberty of closing the door at 5.50pm and commencing meal time. If it is 6pm then you close the door at 6pm. The staff need to adapt a more customer focused culture. The customer is not an inconvenience. They are the reason why there is a business. I was advised by several friends that the store has a poor reputation for service. I often believe that people have different experiences and that information should always be used cautiously. Unfortunately it was confirmed first hand. There is a lot of competition in this market, the difference I see is the customer experience.

Best Customer Service experience. Dr Stephen Tang is the best optometrist I've ever seen. Very helpful and friendly to all his customers.. Thank you Dr Tang.
