Bearing in mind that this is Coober Pedy, a very interesting place but physically not dissimilar to Tatooine. We camped at the Opal Inn. The facilities were as expected. Everything worked, the cooking facilities were pretty sparse but sheltered and clean. The bathrooms are clean and included in the reasonable $25 a night we paid. We ate in the bistro, my burger was good, the chips were great. My mate had a curry from the specials board and raved about it. We had a couple of beers in the saloon bar after dinner, well worth doing. The yokels are very entertaining. Overall I recommend the Opal Inn, if for no other reason than it gave us a genuine taste of Coober Pedy as we passed through.

Good park, handy with bar/restaurant being part of. Drawback, no water & no dump Point. Showers leave a bit to be desired. If I Went back, would prefer to caravan there.

The worst caravan park & hotel lve ever stayed in. The hotel it took three goes to get a room that was clean and there was no discount or an apology given at all. They offer you something but don't give you breakfast no Danishes or fresh fruit
