Story

Overlooking sunbleached, sandy Trinity Beach and set against a magnificent backdrop of the World Heritage Tropical Rainforest, On The Beach comprises 45 x 4 Star quality one, two and three bedroom apartments, thoughtfully designed and appointed to truly capture North Queenslands tropical lifestyle.

We offer accommodation from the less expensive garden view apartments to the absolute beachfront apartments with beautiful panoramic beach and ocean views. All apartments are within 10-40 metres of the beach. Privacy and peacefulness is assured as the different room types are housed in seven separate buildings, each with their own pool and landscaped barbeque area.

Leave the car at home – we are within an easy walking distance of a wonderful selection of restaurants and cafes, local shopping and the local Tavern. Bring your loved ones to the safety, peacefulness and tranquility that is Trininty Beach - just 15 minutes drive from the airport and 25 minutes to the life of the city of Cairns itself.

What can I say ?nFriendly staff, easy check in and out.nGreat room very clean comfortable and well appointed with everything you need kitchenette, lounge area with TV and DVD player, comfortable sofa.nThere's even a washing machine and dryer for those longer stays.nThe view from the balcony overlooking the pool area and ocean was spectacular.nTalk about value for money, give them a go you can't go wrong.nAs for location everything is within walking distance, beach, shops, cafes, tavern and restaurants.nDouble my 5 stars to 10

Location and access to nearby restaurants was amazing. However upon arrival, I waited in the reception office for almost 20 minutes before a staff member came and checked me in. I arrived with my baby, pram and bags and was offered no help up to my room which was on the first level up the stairs. Was also given no direction by the receptionist on which direction my room would even be in. Lucky it was easy to find, getting my belongings up to the room was more tricky.nnThe rooms were nice and cosy and the air cons worked great. The freezer was however leaking into the entire fridge and tiles of the kitchen which I then had to use the towel to soak it up...I had to make the freezer colder as it wasn't set right. I went to go dry my clothes in the dryer and the entire lint/dust cover thing fell out and hit my wrist with great force causing me to bruise up. The cleaning team obviously had only balanced the broken vent...other then that, was pretty overall satisfied but not thoroughly enjoyed.

Value for money, and very clean, our apartment open plan living small gallery kitchen but functional, for 2Adults 3 young teens, Perfect. Great BBQ and generous pool, and the best hot tub spa, that is actually heated. Thankyou Management, TOM friendly will be back.

Fabulous location right behind life saver flags and seasonal stinger net. 300 m to central shops, but lovely restaurant next door opens 7 am until late. Parking tight, but adequate. Second level has best views.nUnits show their age, but well maintained. Quirky showers with views out and in. Great staff.

Someone got drunk and threw up on the carpet before, and the hotel didn't clean it at all. The whole room stinks make us want to puke. Asking for compensation from the hotel, the hotel is tough and determined not to refund. Live near this hotel is very inconvenient.
