I got a great deal for the 1dollar a day relocations. I just wasn’t able to pick a car, it was whatever was available. And then extra payment for whatever type of insurance you want to have. With it being winter and so snowy, I went for the gold insurance just to cover everything.  The company was very professional and the car, OMG. I thought I might have a little run around car or a minivan or something for  the relocation. Nope. It was a Toyota Highlander with under 20000km on it! Super comfortable, roomy and a brilliant drive.  I booked very last minute. And everything was explained easily and I dropped it off after 3 days at Christchurch Airport just 1km from the international departures. There was a free shuttle to get me to the airport once I had dropped the car back.  Highly recommend :
