Love this well appointed neat and tidy campsite run by Sue and her husband Pete. Both just lovely people, very friendly people.nIt is so conveniently situated  to the Rail Trail and the historic village of Ophir with two good restaurants. Given the recreational possibilities, the only thing missing is group accommodation… but for us, we had a lovely spot under a shady tree fir our two person tent.

Well run camp site. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff! Thank You!nA few minutes drive up to the lake!

Stayed in a cabin for one night while on the rail trail. $33 if you BYO sleeping bag, small cabin but very comfortable, includes power, kitchen facility, bathroom and shower facilities, all of which are in great condition, some of the best I've ever seen at a holiday park! Such great value for money! Definitely stay here if you get the chance.

This campsite has to have the cleanest facilities of any campsite I have been too. The bathrooms, kitchen and fridges were exceptionally clean.nThe host was very friendly and helpful.nNice place to stay if you’re doing the Otago Rail Trail.

Great stay in a lovely part of the world. The camp ground is well kept and the modern facilities are so clean, a pleasure to stay here and we will be back. Our thanks to Sue and her team .
