Great place to stay in Wanaka with lots of options for camping and rooms. We stayed in a self contained unit so can't speak to the amenities, but our cabin had what you needed. It's one of the older places on the property with its quirks but fit our needs. The staff were friendly and check in and check out a breeze. It's a short walk to town and really close to the lake. Overall, a good stay!
Is it weird to write a review because of the showers?! Well I am, the showers are amazing. Very clean, separated stalls with unlimited HOT water. The best camp shower I've ever had. The location is walkable to downtown Wanaka and many sites available. The kids enjoyed the playground, which had an inflatable kangaroo pillow jumper, they loved it!
Stayed in a cabin for 2 nights. Was a great stay. Cabin got a little warm in the day so was worried about night but it cools down so just keep the windows open when the sun goes behind the mountain and it will cool off fast. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean and shower was good with lots of power and lots of hot water. There was a mini fridge in the cabin as well which was nice. Good location to the beach and a nice little walk to the restaurants and shops.
Have come here twice now and good experience both times!! Very close to the lake and town center. Kitchens are very clean with lots of fridge and freezer space. Showers are the best camp showers I’ve used!! Unlimited hot water, good pressure, and clean! Couldn’t recommend this holiday park enough
Busy site within a short walk of the lake and town. Facilities clean and well-maintained, although many of the laundry machines were out of order during our stay. Level and reasonably well-spaced pitches with water and power, but public dump site located just outside site can be busy with queues at check out times.
