Positives would be that it is much cheaper than any other paid sites in Wanaka. You get clean and modern facilities. The only negative would be the paid hot showers, but hey you get what you pay for. Overall we had a nice night camping here.

This campsite is in a wonderful location right in the lake. The cabins for the price are a steal, so tidy and clean. The showers you must pay 1 dollar for 6 minutes which is very reasonable and you can buy dollar coins at the front counter. We also had a flat battery in our car, the cleaners before us asking within a few seconds rushed to get us a jumper cable and started our car for us. Super lovely.

Enjoyed our stay here - facilities were great and very clean. Loved the common area and well equiped kitchen. Manager of the park was friendly and helpful! All the sites are so close to the lake and all have incredible views of the snow capped mountains above. Great location just out of Wanaka - easy to drive into town and explore.nnThe only downside is paying for showers but they were very hot and pressure was great so not a big deal really - have some $1 coins accessible.

So as an Aussie visiting Glendhu Bay for the first time, I was blown away by the stunning location - no photo could ever do this place  justice - kinda like my selfies. I stayed in a cozy cabin, which was warm and welcoming on a chilly night, and the bathroom facilities nearby were also well-heated - a real plus in the cold. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, offering great advice on things to do in the area. I couldn’t help but think, “how’s the serenity?”If you’re into biking, there are amazing trails just across the road. Highly recommend Glendhu Bay for anyone seeking a beautiful and peaceful getaway.

We stayed with our YR8 rugby team, the lodge couldn’t have been more perfect for our requirements of a great communal space and accommodation where we could keep a close eye on the kids. The toilet/shower facilities were lovely and clean and right there. Reception was extremely accommodating and friendly, and the view was world class!! Thanks for a great stay. I would highly recommend this facility.
