If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Great views food and service. I have obviously never had good Italian food before because this place blew me away. The pasta and pizza bases are so fresh! Signature cocktails are on point! Service was amazing! Great for families or even takeaway. We happened upon this a day into our trip and booked a table again for the final night of our stay and nowhere else we ate compared. There are so many other overrated places around it but this is a real gem.
We just sat down and they asked if we wanted any drinks, which is great, next minute another waitress comes along and asks the same thing, and we said we've already ordered drinks, then she goes do u want to order food, haven't even had a chance to look at the menu or say hello to our family, 5 minutes later they're back again, give us a break will you... When we were ready to order we called them over, the menu is typical with pasta and pizza, but yr main dishes I wouldn't say much was Italian, there wasn't anything on there that I wanted to eat, that I couldn't get at a pub and expensive for what you got on the plate. My dish was very ordinary, it was dry even with the lemon squeezed over it, everyone else said theirs was nice, especially the pasta dishes, they were good servings. I don't mind paying for a dish if it's worth it, I just felt the quality and quantity for an Italian restaurant was poor, and being Italian it was a bit disappointing. Anyway, the cocktails were a good price and very nice, the surrounding were lovely and beautiful breezes coming off the water was nice on a warm night. The only downside the deck chairs I felt were too low for the table.
Highly recommend. We’ve eaten here twice now on our Cairns trip. Both of these times the service has been excellent. Staff are efficient and friendly. The food is such a high quality and is truly delicious. Could not fault anything. Yes please! An absolute must if you are looking for dining in Cairns. Simple menu with some really well put together dishes. Portions are a perfect size and a great wine menu to select a drink to accompany your meal with. Be prepared to pay for a bottle because there are some great Italian varietals on offer.
Lovely setting for a restaurant, right on the waterfront. Service was quick and cheery. Warm olives were interesting but still prefer mine cold. Pizza was edible, good crust but all the capers seemed to be on one area, and the middle was really soft and wet on both, not Neapolitan style, I’ve eaten pizza in Naples. Probably wouldn’t recommend or return.
Last minute decision to go here for dinner, it was booked out but found us a table. Very welcoming and staff and service was friendly and efficient. Food was fantastic and quick. Lovely to sit on boardwalk but due to the weather opted for inside. Recommended
Our food was simply delicious! The place was quite busy, so it did take some time to arrive, however it was lovely. Oysters were super fresh as well. Def recommend the seafood pasta if you’re in the area.
Nice and did the dishes well. The seasoning was a nice balance. Quality maintained even though it was busy. The paccheri al maiale $29 with card surcharge was balanced. The fresh taste of the herbs contrasted the pork mince slightly sweet and juicy. The tubular pasta did collapse, however, it is made to true al dente. The sauce was good, as the sour cream did not overpower the mushroom's flavor. The dry cured bacon is not overly salty, complimented the dish. However, the "hint of chili" was not present. The water was free. Would recommend, however, it is on the slightly higher price. I think if it was $2-2.5 lower then it would be 5 stars. Vegetarian options: Available
Gluten free pizza in photo My friends and me had an amazing time here, booked at the last minute, the team has been really amazing and super kind during the whole service. The food was incredible, gluten free pizza really good as well and really good ingredients home made gf base I think Good wine choice and of course beautiful place, great to have a walk around after dinner / lunch in Cairns. My friend from Napoli had a normal pizza not gluten free and loved it as well. Compliment to all the team and chefs Absolutely recommend
Our waiter Juanito was amazing. Came here as a part of our 21st anniversary celebrations and enjoyed every bit of it. I’m pretty picky when it comes to Italian restaurants I like authentic basic pasta, they way I ate it through Italy but highly rate and would come back again next time we are Cairns
