My mother is so happy and settled in Acacia ward at Olivet. I can't speak highly enough of how wonderful everything is there. The staff are all so kind and caring. Mum is really enjoying the food. There are so many activities. She loves the music concerts. We booked the multipurpose room for her 96th birthday party and the staff went to so much trouble decorating the room and organizing everything that we needed. I looked at many places prior to Olivet and so glad mum is here. We couldn't do better. Thankyou from all our family for caring so well for our dear mum. Five stars xxx
My Dad was at Olivet Care for 3.5 years. I would not recommend the memory unit Juniper to anybody that has a loved one with dememtia related behavioural issues. Also Dads stoma care was very inadequate which lead to an MRSA infection. Very upsetting and disappointing experience for our Dad and our family.
Mum became a resident a year ago and is loving been there. The warm, bright, friendly environment is great; meals are varied but if she doesn’t feel like what’s on offer, staff will make her something else; also Activities are available for her to join in. The nursing care staff are friendly, caring and keep us informed of any changes in mum’s care. We have found all staff, administration, nursing, domestic etc. friendly and helpful; Mum’s physical and psychological well-being have improved since been at Olivet.
I cannot speak highly enough of Olivet Care.nMy mum has been a resident in the Oaks household for almost two years, in which time her health and happiness has actually improved since living at home.nWithout a doubt I attribute this to the genuine care, consistency and happiness of particularly the Oaks staff, but also the staff and community of the whole of Olivet. There is always a smiling face and a warm hello from each staff member to both myself and my mum at each encounter. All of the staff are regulars and the majority in the Oaks have been there at least since mum arrived and they always appear happy in their work. They know the residents and their needs well and they truly care for their wellbeing. We are blessed that Mum happily calls it home.
I honestly don’t understand how this beautiful aged care facility has a ‘review rating of 3.2 stars …???.’nMy father Charlie has been a resident for the past 8 months and our experience has been nothing but , caring &. respectful.nThe wonderful staff here at Olivet have a genuine loving relationship with my dad and an excellent understanding of our fathers needs, likes and dislikes . The staff, facilities , rooms, meals ,cafe and activities are amazing .nEvery request has been met and we can not fault them.nWe can’t thank you enough for giving my family , particularly my mother, the ‘peace of mind ‘ that we need everyday knowing that our dad is happy and that we have our dad in one of the best aged care facilities in Melbourne.nThank you to the beautiful caring staff that care for Dad … every day … Absolutely everyone we have crossed at Olivet have always had a smile on their face and are always more then happy to chat with us and most importantly care for our ‘hero our rock our Dad Charlie xx Thank you thank you
