Great museum well worth it. Staff and tour guide make it very interesting and also there are some parts there with original graffiti from inmates. You can also go inside the original cells where prisoners were locked up in.
Old Melbourne Gaol never gets old. My last visit was about 20 years ago and in that time, the police car park and remand centre next door has been reverted back to its original state. So now you can explore a lot more.
Great place to visit, was happy to get out. Would look bit brighter with some Street Art?! The history of Gaol is absolutely fascinating. Ned Kelly you'll always be #missed
Loved this place. Definitely pay the extra $5 for the cludo experience. Only thing that would make it better would be if there was a tour guide
Loved the place, especially the personalized stories of the criminals. Would recommend this place to someone who likes Shashank Redemption and Prison Break.

A great experience. Enjoyed learning about the life of prisoners and staff. Would have liked more time to tour all the cells and read the presented information.
Completely not worth the money. Seeing the building is cool but there’s barely any information presented. The gallows had ZERO information or signage around it. Complete let down.
Fantastic experience, the building is preserved as it was, and really feels like stepping back in time. Gives a good history of prison life, and stories about the people who passed through there. Highly recommend.
