I recently purchased a $5k Asus laptop. It was Dead on Arrival. I returned asking for replacement or repair as I had been after that model for ages and felt blessed to get one. While the staff were very pleasant to deal with it seems their policy does not replace or repair laptops. They just refund. This laptop was purchased on sale in the first instance. I was offered a full price alternative of inferior units which I declined. These were not Asus and would have cost me more. Officeworks would not entertain repairing my laptop despite repeated requests. After many hours with Asus support they told me to return it to the store for repair. I feel a bit ripped off given the time I waited for it. I am now back to my slow 30 year old Asus laptop. It would have been nice if Officeworks policy honours the purchase with repair or replacement. You could almost think they wanted this top of the line laptop to repair themselves. Would they do the same for a cheaper laptop. Especially when Asus said to return it for repair.
I recently visited the Officeworks and had a truly outstanding experience with Shyla. She was exceptionally cooperative, professional, and went above and beyond to assist me. Her friendly attitude and willingness to help made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. I am extremely satisfied with her service and would be delighted to give her a full 5/5 rating.
Poor customer service. Had to wait a long time for staff to find a product. A different staff member then brought the product to me and left, rather than the original staff that should have finished the salenThis meant i had to go back to the end of a long and slow line.nMore than the time wasted im angry about the lack of courtesy. If you start a sale. finish it. Iwas a regular customer but will never spend a cent there again.
I know why officeworks does so well, no suprise, consistancy. The Gladstone Officeworks is no different, great range of products, great prices and good service. My five stars is given due to everything being the way they advertise it to be. I walked in got what i needed, served as you should be and was a good price.
A smile and good manners cost nothingnVery disappointing and upsetting experience today at print counter.nIf this staff member doesn't want to deal with the customer politely I suggest that they try night packing shelves!
