Absolutely amazing, with checking in late, all I did was message the property and they got the rest sorted. The facilities were easy to get to/use, within walking distance to almost everywhere or a 2-5 minute drive. The view is incredible from the balcony’s. For only $160 for one night stay, I would classify this as extremely cheap for what you get!!nnStaff are almost amazing

I have mixed feelings about our stay at the 'Ocean Views' Resort. On the plus side it is located very central to the beach and shops in Caloundra. Our cleanish budget apartment had a full kitchen with stove top, microwave, toaster, full sized fridge, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. They included a basement car park in the price and there was a nice balcony with a view to a construction site and a glimpse of the beach.nnThe design however was neither form nor function as the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom was actually an opaque glass window. Apart from providing no privacy when showering in front of your roommate, as an additional challenge, the sun was magnified through this diffused panel to wake you very early in the morning. There was no way to cover this. The bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy.nnThere was a dining table with chairs and a comfortable lounge separated from the bedroom by folding doors. and the TV was a good sized Samsung Smart TV.nnI would debate their claim to wheelchair access when the lifts are very narrow with no turning circle and once you are at your floor, there are some rooms with a large step to get into the room. I would check this before booking if you require access.nnAs a non-serviced apartment you are provided one towel each for the duration of your stay. You could wash and dry them I suppose but if you require more linen they will only provide it for a fee. Be aware that you are also required to wash up your own dishes and take out the rubbish at the end of your stay. Definitely budget accommodation.nnOh and they have a sauna, heated outdoor pool and advertised a spa, however the spa did not work when we used it. Also we were charged a fee of $5 for beach towels.nnThey also take a $250 pre authorised amount from your credit card on arrival. The pre-authorisation is released on the day of departure and depending on your bank can take between 3 – 14 days to be released.nnThere is a restaurant on the ground floor of the building but the prices were very expensive and we didn't try to eat there.nnThat is my experience, as I said, mixed feelings. Neither very good nor overly bad. 2 stars I think.
Nice rooms like apartments, everything supplied.. beautiful sea view.. great pool sauna and jacuzzi. Clean and tidy and well run. Will come back.
This is a budget hotel and, at that, reasonable value. Cooking facilities provided but very basic. Room is quite spacious. Decor a little tired, which we knew that as it was a cheaper suite. Photos on website are accurate. Bed comfortable, bathroom ok but shower is in the bath. View reasonable, a little traffic noise if on the balcony but did not disturb us. Rooms are not serviced during stay, but that is ok for what they are offering. Great location and friendly and efficient reception staff.nBiggest criticism is the parsimonious provision of supplies. Two sachets of dishwashing liquid for a 3 night stay. No salt and pepper. And they charge if you need to top up supplies. See photo of their advice on this. It would be better if they were less stingey with supplies, and if they had a bit more in the kitchen. e.g. a coffee plunger, s&p. We would have liked a second chair too as it was too cold to eat on the balcony. I would stay again but hope they lift their game a bit.
