My wife and I had a lovely time at the park. The amenities and facilities was fantastic and clean. The staff are polite and very proficient with their service. The ladies in the coffee van are just fantastic. I love ordering my coffee in app and the time i walk down, the coffee was alway made. Its a pitty some of the parents who staying in the park, dont watch their kids as they dont always follow the park rules.which the staff have to keep on reminding them. The only thing I suggest is the park should invest in getting a retaining wall around the park as you can here the traffic alot from the highway.
BIG4 Caloundra WaterfrontnnWe stayed on sites 18, 51, and 52. We didn’t realise our family would be split across different areas when we booked, which was a little inconvenient.nnThe pool and slide were great, and the amenities were clean. Being able to walk to the shops was a bonus. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.nnJust a heads-up: our sites copped the hot afternoon sun, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when booking.nnA nice park overall, but after staying at Sandstone Point, it’s hard not to compare — Sandstone really is next level!
Unforgettable Family Stay at BIG4 Caloundra WaterfrontnnWe recently enjoyed a 3-night family getaway 2 adults, 2 young kids at BIG4 Caloundra Waterfront Holiday Park, and it exceeded all expectations!nOur first night was in the premium Hibiscus cabin, which offered unbelievable waterfront views—a truly serene way to start the trip. For the next two nights, we stayed in the Greyvillea cabin, which was similar in size and amenities but without the views. That said, it was conveniently located near the pool and came at a significantly lower price over $100/night cheaper, making it a great value option.nBoth cabins were well-equipped with excellent kitchen facilities—dishwasher, microwave, full-sized fridge, and complimentary coffee and tea. Everything was clean, modern, and family-friendly.nThe large pool was the highlight for our kids and us!. With a gentle gradient depth perfect for little ones and super fun water slides that even adults can enjoy, it kept everyone entertained for hours. Plenty of sun loungers and pool towels made relaxing easy.nWe loved grabbing our morning coffee from Tom and Andy’s coffee cart, which had lovely water views. The resto bar overlooking the pool was another great touch—you can even order food and drinks poolside without leaving your lounger!nOur kids had an absolute blast, and we made some truly special family memories. Having visited several holiday parks up and down the east coast, this one stands out as the best we’ve experienced so far.nWe’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’ll be booking well in advance!
We stayed in a camp site at this property for the week and it was one of the cleanest and friendliest campgrounds that we've been to. It was also quite at night, and had a great pool for the kids and adults alike you could even order a drink poolside!. Also loved the coffee cart onsite and easy stroll out the back gate to the ocean.
What a great park! We'd stayed previously but never used all park facilities nor realised it is so close to downtown Caloundra we'd been for specific purposes other than enjoying the park itself.nThe sites are reasonable size, not large but very adequate.nThe toilet/shower facilities are great.nSince we were last there they have added the bar/bistro adjacent to the pool. What a great spot that is!nDrinks & food were reasonably priced. Food was delicious & meals were served remarkably quickly even though they appeared to be quite busy.nThe coffee van is great to start the daynCaloundra, and all it has to offer, is literally outside the gate.
