This is our go to section of the beach. We have young kids and the water is nice and shallow and my daughter loves the park. In busy times parking can be a bit tricky but we usually fair OK.
Very picturesque. Nice place to have a BBQ. Child friendly Playground.
A lovely, popular, small park between the Esplanade and the water front. There's a play area for the kids and bbq's to enjoy. Be careful of the busy walkway/cycle path running the length of the beach. Lots of access to the narrow beach to swim and place for those who choose to fish. There's a canoe hire business to take advantage of as well.
Nice Park next to the beach,pretty close to busy road though, but looks like a new fence is planned. It is in desperate need of some seating for the supervising adults, which is why it only gets 3 stars from me.
Beautiful, peaceful and clean BBQ facilities, tables and toilets pristine. Limited parking but great spot for everyone. So, so colourful and busy on weekends and holiday seasons with multiple choices for beach and water activities. Hire options available.
White sand, nice and calm beach for little ones. There's a toilet near the playground and bbq area.
Great place for a walk and a day on the beach even better there was a lovely cafe/ restaurant on the Esplanade which does great mango smoothies
Took a walk with our granddaughter. Some good variety of rides / swings etc. Clean beach right behind it
Great place to gather a group, as best you can in these crazy times. The Kiteboarding Australia Event has been held here for many years. Great beach access and lovely white sand
Chill place for paddle boarding or snorkeling, lots of space and shade. Just careful of stingrays saw alot there
