This place is more of a cockroach-infested house than a hotel. The rooms are filthy, hygiene is severely lacking, and it feels like no proper pest control has ever been done. The conditions are unacceptable for anyone expecting even basic cleanliness and comfort.
We stayed the night as a family if 5 and had a wonderful stay. Starting with a very helpful check in process, a room that was perfect and a great morning spent at the pool. Highly recommend and we have already rebooked for our return journey!
It was my absolute pleasure to be able to enjoy the indulgent facilities on offer to a traveller available here at Novotel Darwin Airport. The staff at the bar by the sapphire coloured glass walled pool are kind , friendly full of smiles and great humour. If your waiting for your next flight don't miss this beautiful incarnation of swimming pool architecture. Very soothing.
The outdoor upgrades the pool area, are brilliant, it looks great and is a really beautiful space to just unwind and relax. Unfortunately our room was underwhelming. I am guessing the rooms are going to be upgraded and if not, need to be. The rooms are tired and linen looked like it had seen better days. Although it is peak season, the cost of the room didn't equate to quality, let alone luxury and as mentioned, the linen, towels, furniture all need refreshing. Small detail, but the crockery tea/coffee cups were mismatched and there was only really enough sugar for one person.nEating options menu were very limited which was a surprise for peak season.
Met friends for a drink at the pool side bar. Great atmosphere and very comfortable. Drinks were tasty and hot chips were crunchy. Service was efficient and easy.
