Our room is very comfortable. It is a bit small in the bathroom but modern and clean.nnThe bed is king sized and there is a small balcony. It would be better with a separate tap in the room near the coffee and jeg etc but for the price we paid it is wonderful. On arrival we discovered breakfast was included. Staff are lovely. Parking is available for 9 dollars a day.nnWe were very happy here.
The room we stayed in for 2 nights, Mon 24/8 and Tues 25/8, was nice. The location of this motel isn't great, particularly without access to a car.nStaff member Hana is great.nThe second morning we headed to continental breakfast, we identified that the toaster wasn't working and the staff tried to sort out the electrical problems. Apparently they did, but not before we had to leave the dining area to leave early.nThe price was much better than others in Darwin, and I was happy enough but can't say I recommend it for much beyond the lower price paid.
Great little hotel centrally located in Darwin’s CBD with everything within walking distance. Rooms were very clean. I do wish our two bedroom deluxe room did have more than 1 mirror which was located in the bathroom. The only other thing I would say is the breakfast included the hot breakfast as well as the continental however a few days later they began charging $10.00 if you wanted the hot breakfast I don’t believe there should be an extra charge for the hot breakfast.Breakfast is breakfast. I would stay there again as it was a nice little hotel centrally located and very clean
Stayed 2 nights, room was great, breakfast is basic but good.nUnfortunately we had a fire alarm go off and had to evacuate around midnight. We stood out on the road waiting to be told when we could go back in. There was no smoke or anything obviously wrong and the fire department spent less than 5 minutes on the premises. There was no communication from the staff, they continued working behind the front reception desk
Fantastic experience, will definitely stay here again. Great rate, comfortable bed, ample sized rooms - even a bath! Staff, front desk and housekeeping, are super obliging & friendly. While not beach-front, there is a view of the ocean from most rooms and an evening breeze to match.I asked for late check-out and was amazed - 12noon and complimentary - outstanding! 100% recommend the Argus Hotel.
