Well we choose this place for our Anniversary dinner date, honestly speaking a nice and quiet amazing place. Sitting by the pool just outside the restaurant space was so airy. Food was so tasty - on time- drinks was superb. We tried Pink paradise and watermelon daiquiri- opps… lovely. Last but not the least, amazing staffs members attending every conversation with smile.
We were visiting the pool and bar today.nThere’s no clear signage anywhere to indicate what to do how to pay etc. only a hotel reception with no signage.nWe walked through, purchased a round of drinks and proceeded with no questions.nWith no adequate shaded areas available, they only have about 3/4 cabana with no curtains now and about 4 seated shaded areas.nWe put our stuff in the shade of a palm tree and went in. I asked one of the passer by staff why the cabanas were reserved- they required a $100 spend for an under kept mattress and no shade or curtains as you can see they have been taken down.nWe were then asked if we were staying in house or just visiting and when we answered she brought a manager around to basically state we had to go back all the way to the reception and purchase a minimum spend to re-enter. I explained that we had already purchased more than the minimum to which he still said we had to go up and get wrist bands ourselves.nWhen we left this afternoon we went to parking which is ticketed and across the road for a high price, we couldn’t get out as it turns out that we had to pay our ticket all the way back at reception also no info on. We were let through anyways and that was our day.nWhat a joke. If a third world country can have more signage and make it clear to understand and staff that are actually doing their job then how does Australia struggle with this especially at such a beautiful resort.nDon’t recommend at all.nWe’re not the only ones either. Multiple people were complaining.
I recently stayed at this hotel with my 5-month-old baby, and it was the most disappointing experience I've had. Upon arrival, the check-in process took over 30 minutes, and no one offered assistance with the language barrier. When I requested a trolley for our luggage, I was simply told that there should be some available at the back—no help offered.nnOnce we finally got to our room, the door wouldn’t work. After reporting this, I had to repeatedly emphasize my situation with a baby before they sent someone to assist us. Eventually, they managed to open the door, but then we were told we couldn’t exit due to a faulty lock.nnTo make matters worse, at 10 PM, we were asked to move to another room. This was incredibly inconvenient with a young child, and yet again, no one offered help with our bags. The baby cot the was reserved for us never made it to the new room.nOverall, the lack of customer service and support made our stay extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
Hats off to The amazing staff hit with an influx of over 200 guests after a cancelled flight, for their patience and professionalism getting us all into rooms and settled quickly for the night.nSpecial thanks to the lovely young man from seminyak, who was so friendly and charming on reception. A cancelled flight could ruin a holiday, instead this was a lovely stop over to start one.Thanks Mercure!nnRoom was spotless and peaceful, gardens are lovely and the Splash bar has a great vibe!
The staff here is incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Rooms are also very comfortable and perfectly neat, clean and tidy.nWe enjoyed the delicious food. Talking about pool, it is awesome. It is central of attraction in the hotel.
