Lovely oval with great facilities, that hosted an AFL game during the Gather Round.nFantastic to see the more historic aspects of the ground being kept. We sat in the Grandstand and enjoyed our visit, would have been just a little better if my partners team had won.
Gather round at Norwood was an electric atmosphere in a great oval watching AFL stars take the field. Canteen was expensive but this is always expected nowadays at the footy. Highly recommend next gather round.
Not a great venue for an AFL match. Seating in the stand appeared to be original standard from approx 100 years ago when it was built. Pending on where you sit there are large poles obstructing view of the oval.
Worst Oval in Australia I have attended for an AFL game. Poles and light towers obstructing your view, massive queues at porta toilets and for food and drink. Like attending a suburban VFL game in the 70-80's!
