Entry was quick and easy when we went today. The entry cost included skate hire. or you can bring your ownnDecent sized beginner rink with ample frames and balance penguins to help learn. Can go in to the bigger rink if desired or when ready.nShame there is a lot of construction there still in areas and the tobogganing/ski area is closed.nStaff are lovely and the regular skaters are very helpful. Had a great time.
Been there twice and enjoyed it both times. The first time was a few weeks ago when it was opened to the public for free skating because there had been a change in management and they wanted to relaunch the rink. It was packed that day with a very long queue both to enter and to rent skates. The second time was better; no wait time and much less people on the rink even though only one of the rinks was in use. They have support bars and penguins for novices like me who can’t skate without support. Will wholeheartedly recommend.
As a Professional Figure skater, I’ve been training and competing here since 2018, which means I’ve seen quite a few things change. While there is still a bit of mould, I’ve seen staff here working SUPER hard on making this place a better environment and experience! So this place is a 10/10 must go in summer!!
Had an incredible time! The staff were nice and the skates were pretty good! The rinks were crowded but still had an awesome time.
Food is wayyyyyy overpriced, pretty much robbed… $35 for chip platter. Get a better deal with the vending machine. Other than that, it has improved a lot over the years, pity only one ring open as they used the other one for hockey, really should have advised of it on entry.
