A wonderful community library!nnMy 2-year-old son absolutely loves attending Rhyme Time and Play Time every Thursday – it’s the highlight of his week! The sessions are fun, engaging, and perfect for little ones. Afterward, we always borrow a fresh batch of books to enjoy at home. Book selection is incredible! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile or a great book recommendation. We feel so lucky to have such a welcoming and well-run library in our community. Thank you for all that you do!
It's more like a community centre with a library in it than a simple library. It gets a little loud at times, specifically when the kids finish school and come to the library with their friends, and when there's events on for small children. But it's otherwise peaceful and nice. They often rotate the books on the display at the ends of the shelves, and they're always bangers. There's always a seat somewhere. I like it here and come here often to crochet.
It's an incredible place to go and become a frequent reader/user. The staff is amazing, always smiling and available to help us with anything. Everything clean, organised, and comfortable. You can borrow up to 20 books and also from other Moreton bay libraries in the network. It's a great asset to the city and its residents. There's also kids toys available for playing and borrowing, computer games and much more.
A nice open space with a bit for everyone. While there is a kids space, there are also plenty of study spaces far enough away the noise isn't a concern, especially with some headphones. The staff have always been helpful when i have enquiries.nnParking can be a bit limited in busy periods, but there is street parking if you need to look further.
Whoever designed this great space also decided to have it be a daycare facility for little children. The noise from the kids doesn’t agree with people reading, working and studying. Teenagers playing video games often swearing and being loud. It doesn’t work as staff won’t try and keep things quieter for everyone else. Other than that a great space. Just pay attention to specific times to go around little children’s events, sometimes 3 pm is louder when high school kids get off school.
