Why is the carpark at the public library not open to the public? There's dozens of spots underneath the building but only people that work there can park there. This is unacceptable we paid for the building but public servants are not allowing us to fully utilise it. Rectify this asap! The place is also over staffed there are more people working there then visiting. Tax payer money is being wasted here.
Visited the newly renovated Everton Park Library for the first time, and it was absolutely stunning! The modern design and inviting atmosphere are truly impressive. The staff were exceptionally friendly, respectful, and responsible, adding to the wonderful experience. I also attended a fascinating presentation about planting and even won a beautiful plant in the lucky draw. What an incredible day!
Great library and staff but opening hours are poor. Shut three days per week and only five hours on a Friday. A publicly funded service should be available far more often.
My worst experience! We did love this library before. I forgot to check the librarian name-around 60s long gray hair big glasses mean character.l asked something and she just started to tell me how else I could find one t the answer without disturbing her. I know how else I could do I just thought she is there for this, for us.
The staff that work here are absolutely great 5/5 stars.nThe wi-fi however is horrendous. My computer connects to wifi and has access to internet. My mobile devices however connect to wifi but have no internet. In 2025 this sort of stuff should not be a thing. This seems common on all City council public wifis.
