I think people who post negative reviews need to understand that names shouldn’t be mentioned in reviews this is a form of bullying. Staff in this clinic are always helpful and if you think you were treated badly report it to the manager of the Practice. I personally have sat in the waiting room and the amount of rubbish they have to put with from patients would test anyone. I think considering the number of patients being seen in that clinic everyday a couple of bad reviews is expected. Personally I give I them 5 stars.

I called to reschedule an appointment that i had missed as I'm a single parent and got caught up with my son's school enrolment, where I was told by a rude receptionist named Connie, that my paperwork was thrown out. She was so rude to me. Calling a medical centre should not have you left in tears and begging her to have some compassion as you have just left an abusive relationship and are doing your best to raise two kids on your own.

I only usually attend this clinic for minor issues that don’t require comprehensive assessment. I went last night and the receptionist was under the PUMP. She did an amazing job taking into account she was the only one there. The wait room was full. She fit me in and during my 45min wait she didn’t get a second to breathe. All 6 phone lines were ringing constantly, patients were queuing at the counter. She handled it with a smile the whole time but Christ given the woman some help!! Please hire an additional staff member for the evenings... it’s not healthy for one person to try and manage that efffectively and give consistent service.

Always very long waiting times. We were called by them to get our baby immunised- after waiting for 1 hour and half (with a 1yo baby) we were told that they didn't have the vaccine, so our child couldn't be immunised. Never again. This is very poor practice and bad management. When I complained about the waiting time I was told I should have called before my appointment to make sure the GP wasn't running late!

The North Coburg Medical Centre can be good DEPENDING on what doctor you see. I have seen several doctors at this clinic over the past two years and by far Dr Ismail Alhejaj and Dr Mohsen Mohammadi are the most competent, in my opinion. The most upsetting and disappointing experience I've had was when I saw Dr Kamila Nizam to get a repeat of a contraceptive pill. I wish I had made a formal complaint but it didn't occur to me to do so at the time. In short, Dr Nizam asked if I was married, which I am. Then she looked up my age (I was 31 at the time) and proceeded to tell me that I should be "focusing on starting a family". When I told her that I didn't intend on having children she was incredulous and told me that there was nothing more important than starting a family, and soon, given my age. Aside from her assuming that I am married to a man (which I am but not the point) I really shouldn't be berated for a choice that is entirely my own and has nothing to do with her or her values. For a woman who has decided not to have children, it is a really unpleasant and uncomfortable experience being told by medical professional that you "should be having children" because that's what's "normal" or "important". The other major disappointment (yes, sorry, there's another one) was more recently when I was diagnosed with Influenza B. Unfortunately, it took THREE different appointments/doctors to diagnose it correctly and put me on a couple of different drugs. By this stage though I was already very, very unwell and should have been under quarantine as Influenza B is highly contagious. Thank god for Dr Ismail Alhejaj who recognised straight away what it was, rather than waiting for the test results to come back (which is what the last doctor wanted to do). I can't tell you how frustrating it was to see three different doctors and have to tell them the same thing over and over again, all the while getting sicker and sicker.
