I fully concur with the two expressed experiences.  We paid for an Elevator hardware upgrade to a residential installation and paid immediately as and when requested for progress payments.  After installation was completed we signed a Maintenance Agreement which provided for two 2 visits per year to service the site.  After three 3 quarterly Invoices and been received and paid for albeit for no service visits , and then a fourth Quarterly Invoice arrived for payment , with as yet no attendance nor advice of any impending service attendance I sent two communications over a four week period to their Sales Mgr querying when such a maintenance visit would occur  -  no reply. Some seven weeks later and still with no reply to my communications , and no visit for Elevator maintenance I sent an E-Mail to the General Mgr  -  to which to this day some 10 weeks later silence still reigns from any and all Nordic Personnel.  I simply say to any potential inquirers of their product  -  Be very careful...!!!

Shane Walsh originally requested to use my lift installation as a showcase for future clients in return for regular servicing and maintenance unfortunately I never requested this in writing. Whilst I allowed this, no maintenance was ever carried out and Shane never returned any calls. In 2014 I paid for a service call where I was told the infra red array if that's what it is called had stopped working and needed replacement despite having little to no use. They switched off the component and I never heard back from anyone. I've since contacted the company who have indicated that Shane no longer works for Nordic and they would only come to look at the lift if I sign a very expensive service agreement for a minimum of 3 years. Since the lift has hardly ever worked and I've had such poor service I found this hard to believe. I was subsequently hit by a car on the 5th December 2018 and contacted Nordic as the lift was now a crucial part of my mobility and was told over the phone that I had to wait and should have signed the paperwork when I was told to. I've since given the maintenance contract covered by the TAC to a different contractor due to the poor customer service I've received from Nordic Elevators. Regrettably I would not recommend them.

I had a problem with dropping my keys down lift well. Nordic Elevators understood the emergency and were friendly, professional and timely in fixing my problem. Thanks to the Team! Darren

Truly the worst elevator I have ever come across. Breaks down twice a week. You can't hold the doors open for someone without the elevator breaking down. Really sad when you live in a building with elderly people on the higher floors that are confined to their apartments often as much as twice a week for 24+ hours because of these lifts breaking down.  They are ugly, unreliable, cheap, and only used by developers and builders looking to cut corners and shave off $$$ from the build cost.

Greg Francis at Nordic Elevator is always great to deal with. Very helpful in time critical situations. I would highly recommend using them.
