Always a nice atmosphere here friendly people that help you
No free coffee and not know if have water.
I so love. Sometimes go in to just see new exhibits. Other times for books. If my favourites are not available, experienced staff introduce me to new “like” authors. I always come away with great reads. Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. Never used computers or printers. But available. How good is that?!?!. I think Library’s are grand!
I'm a local guide. This facility is nicely renovated and has good air conditioning for summer. That being said their are very few proper tables for people to study or work. Considering the majority of people who come to the library use it for this purpose it is a shame that they cater more for the minority who come to read books. All in all this library needs more desks to be practical.
What a lovely library! When we joined in November 2018 during a week's stay the library was undergoing refurbishment. We came back to Tewantin for a month in November and used the library regularly. The lay out and displays are very appealing and the staff very friendly. We attended a talk by Heather Morris during our stay and were impressed that they changed the venue so everyone could attend as it was originally over subscribed.nnMy wife attended a meeting of the monthly book club and enjoyed meeting fellow book lovers and hearing their reviews.nnA wonderful facility - it's important to support libraries.
