We recently purchased a new fridge and an LG vacuum cleaner from Noel Leeming, spending over $2,000 in one day. Initially, we planned to buy a Dyson vacuum, but the customer service person strongly recommended the LG vacuum. Since we have a new baby and hygiene is very important for us, we trusted the advice and purchased the LG vacuum for around $600.nnUnfortunately, within just one week the vacuum broke down. We went back to the store and were very disappointed with the response. Instead of replacing the faulty vacuum, we were told it would be sent to the company for repair. It has now been more than a month, and we have not received any update or resolution.nnWe are extremely unhappy with this experience. After spending so much money, we expected better service and support. Struggling without a working vacuum has been very difficult for us, especially with a new baby at home. We hope Noel Leeming can take our concern seriously and provide a quick and fair solution.
I had a very unpleasant encounter at the store. I believe it was the manager short black hair, glasses. He spoke to one of his staff members in a very rude way, saying:n“What are you doing behind the counter? There are already five people there.”nnThis happened while the staff member was helping serve my family, and we were making a large purchase.nnThe manager then started picking up random items and snapping at the same worker, saying things like:n“What’s this doing here?”nand repeating it again.nnI felt bad for the worker, and I regret not speaking up. The way the manager treated them was unprofessional, especially in front of customers.
Disappointing!!!!!!!!!!n3 weeks ago I came in to get a quote for our youth hub, at that time there was a deal, got a combo washer/dryer and delivery install and removal quoted at almost $3000. As well as a very loyal customer with Noel leeming company - quoted on the 13/8/25 sales ended on the 19th. The communication was very clear on my end, considering loyal customers that didn’t seem to bother Deepak, 2days later approved. I tried calling no answer emailed no response! Today I had come back from my leave, to find nothing had been sorted still, our account emailed needing Deepak to move things on his end. I called 3 times before coming in no answer, I walk in all the STAFF IS STANDING AROUND ON THEIR PHONES. I addressed the situation, brought in my emails, not one apology, tried to tell me because I missed out on the discount he was trying to give the display??? Manager agreed. I spoke with the manager, very cut off energy I don’t have time for this ? Answered his cell phone mid way conversation not one apology, gave a speech about problems, all I wanted was solution, this has happened on your end, your team said that they didn’t pick it up on your end since last Thursday, didn’t want to hear it, so unprofessional worst customer service, I said forget it will go somewhere else. He said yes I think that’s a good idea me and my staff??? Excuses excuses couldn’t handle stress under the pump. Walking out the store, all staff still on their phones customers walking around - wake up. If your unhappy in your job LEAVE! If you don’t want to work stay home and watch your phone all day. These people are a liability NOEL LEEMING costing you a lot of customers. Read the reviews from 4 weeks ago, reminded me I made the best decisions to leave elsewhere. GET IT TOGETHER
Very bad experience. I have bought a air fryer from Noel leeming Supa centa last week and when I had opened the box and used it then i found it is damaged and not closing properly then next week I went to this store and asked the staff at customer service about it they said we can’t exchange or return it because it’s a normal .even though I have explained them and showed them but still they were very rude and didn’t accept the return.i will never go back to this store because they are misleading when I have asked the staff about return policy they said we are not mentioning anymore return time period on receipt. If a customer want to know about refund policy or time period then we have to go on their website.
Extremely Disappointed with Service at Noel Leeming ManukaunnI recently had a very frustrating experience at Noel Leeming Manukau. I purchased a Ring camera but was unable to check it immediately due to home renovations. When I finally opened it—completely unused and still in original packaging—I discovered in manual it wouldn’t work with my iPhone 8 Plus, as the app isn’t compatible.nnWhen I returned to the store seeking a credit or exchange, I was passed around between staff and subjected to a lengthy two-hour product inspection, only to be told after all that that the return couldn’t be accepted because I had just passed the 14-day return window. This could have been communicated immediately, saving everyone’s time—including mine.nnWhat’s worse, the sales staff at the time of purchase made no mention that the device required a newer phone to function. That’s basic product knowledge that should have been disclosed at point of sale.nnOverall, I found the experience unhelpful, poorly managed, and lacking in basic customer care. I won’t be returning to Noel Leeming after this and would caution others to be wary of their return policies and lack of transparency.
