I am writing this review to let everyone know how bad was my experience with Noel Jones Balwyn.  Simply you can’t write a review on their Facebook page (noel Jones Balwyn) as of now and the reason is obvious because they are the worst in the business. During my stay, they didn’t f**** care about my problems and they didn’t care to even send someone to fix my issues at all. They lied from the very first date and they still keep doing this. All the reviews you can see in google are either fake or was written by them or owners.  If you want to know how disrespectful they are go and sign a contract with them.

Before I moved to the apartment, they said the house connected to Telstra and you can access to Internet, truth was the house wasn’t connected at all and they didn’t do any sort of compensation at all. Imagine when I told them that the unit is not connected to internet, they said you can and you have to call Telstra, it almost took me 3 weeks to prove them wrong and at the end of the day they said go and get wireless modem! (200-dollar modem and 90 dollars per mount).

The very first date I moved into apartment, the lift stopped working, I called them and they asked me whether I was pushing the right button to open the lift!?!! Imagine you pay for movers and they can’t bring the items by stairs.

After I moved in, I realised that one of gas burner wasn’t working and also, I can’t change or rotate fridge shelves at all! I asked them to send someone to fix. They haven’t done it either over the last 4 months! What they do was sending me wrong parts for last 4 months!

After I decided to transfer my lease to someone because I couldn’t use fridge, gas burner the cost of wireless internet, I couldn’t sleep due to noise, lift stops working over and over and many more issues, they start to say that you can’t transfer your lease and we are not let you to do that! You know why because they want to rip you off! I called RTBA, Legal Aid and tenant union and all of those people ask me to go through VCAT but I decided not to. I paid them the advertisement fee and notice them 14 days advance. Today I went to see how many people will inspect the property and the answer was just one!

Today when I went to return the key, the lady in front desk ask me what form do I have to fill?! She gave me transfer lease form! Which means they lied all the time that I can’t transfer my lease! I asked her to sign the paper that I return the key! She didn’t either! I asked her do I need to fill bond reform form, she didn’t know and also, she said we don’t have that form! And I can’t print this for you, we need to order for you. At the end of the day, they will charge me for break the lease and I can’t do nothing.

Do not recommend as a Rental Agency - prefer to favour friends rather than business clients - heard through body corp - would not recommend.

Noel Jones Balwyn have been the agents for our rental property in Mont Albert North since late 2002, and Rita Zoumboulis has been our agent for the last six years.
We and our tenants have always agreed that Rita is an excellent agent. I think the role of the agent of a rental property is quite a complex one. She is called on to juggle the interests of the tenants and the owners. Rita does this so well, thanks to her excellent interpersonal skills and her genuine desire to help people. So our tenants have always felt well cared for and we have felt that our property has been kept in good order. Rita also has contacts with excellent tradesmen. Again, her good relations with them mean that they are willing to come and help as soon as they possibly can in any given situations. We recommend Rita very, very highly.

Was a pleasure doing business with the Balwyn Noel Jones team. They were realistic, gave prompt and appropriate feedback after each open for inspection and were always respectful. I trusted in their Auction strategy and experience in the market and it paid off handsomely. Coming from my background in a public service industry you know that experience can forecast outcomes. The experience honesty and professinalism of the Noel Jones team in their marketing campaign through to the desired outcome was something I never doubted. Well done and thank you so much for the most engaging Auctioneer in Melbourne - he was brilliant.

I have never had such an appalling customer experience in my life. I have been in my rental property for two years, the first year I dealt directly with the landlord as per his request, but after he changed numbers, I dealt with the agent (they would not give me his number).

My agent, Rita was completely unapproachable, advising that she looked after 400 properties and was too busy to deal with my issue. The issue I was having was a severe pest infestation and took several weeks to even get a response. They resisted every suggestion from us and my wife and myself were attacked during every call we made.

Upon escalating, it became quickly apparent that the managers role was to protect her staff from criticism rather than providing assistance to tenants in need of help, so it was only the threat of legal proceedings that provided any credence.

No doubt it is the priority of the agent to act in the landlords behalf, but from my dealings with this "organisation", they did nothing but sowed seeds of discourse between my family and the landlord (a good guy and very helpful). This has placed unnecessary stress on myself and my family and for this reason, it has motivated us to look for a house literally anywhere else.

If you are looking for helpful, courteous and prompt service from a real estate agent, DO NOT enlist the services of Noel Jones Balwyn. By their own admission, they are overexerted by their current portfolio.
