No.1 Cafe Seafood Restaurant

Absolutely superb. It was difficult to choose something from the diverse menu. I eventually chose the ravioli and it was nicely presented and absolutely delicious. It is extremely rare that I finish a meal, but I did this time, and it was wonderful. The levels of customer service were top-notch. The members of staff were lovely, exceptionally welcoming, attentive and knew the menu. They were able to answer questions adeptly. The male member of staff who served me was really nice, friendly and had a good sense of humour. The restaurant was very clean and I liked the way in which it was decorated. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I would recommend this place 100%. ***We attended this restaurant again, namely in March 2022. The members of staff were exceptionally welcoming. again, I was impressed by the diversity of the menu and the excellent range of vegeterian and non-vegetarian options. Throughout our time at the restaurant, the members of staff were constantly cleaning and taking an interest. The table settings were really nice and there is clear evidence of effort being placed in the decor.***

Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast trip to Arto. Very friendly staff and what distinguishes this restaurant / cafe to others is the sheer variety of the breakfast options. From Mexican breakfast burritos see photos attached to fried chicken on waffles with maple syrup. Will definitely visit again when we're next in Dorking.

Easy access in the center of Dorking, nice and clean restaurant, we were served by a very kind and attentive lady, we had some sardines and arancines as starters, as a main course I ordered a paella, good flavor a little spicy for my taste but quite seasoned, my boyfriend ordered a bistecca with a sauce of spica and blue cheese. the best of all were the desserts, you have to try them. quality prices good.

Our small team came to Arto for a pre-Christmas dinner. We were suitably impressed. So nice to eat in an independent restaurant where the owners are on hand and visible, taking a personal interest in their clients. The quality of the food was superb well done chef! and we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Good value, too. Arto Restaurant is a great asset to our local town.

What a find. We were in Dorking for a couple of nights and found Arto as a result of reviews on here. It was superb. The meals we had were excellent both in terms of quality and quantity and the suggested wine was superb. The service from Jennai and her colleague was excellent and was a major factor to a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! Myself and my partner came on the off chance on a Saturday evening. The lady who served us was witty and just generally fantastic - really friendly. I wished I'd taken pictures, but I loved the decor in the women's bathroom. All of the food we had was served promptly, piping hot and tasted beautiful. I was a bit overwhelmed by choice at the time, three separate menus were avaliable - normal, breakfast and specials, and it worried me in terms of how fresh the meals may be. Those doubts were quickly cast aside when the food came - flavourful, well presented, and served with a smile. After leaving, I realised I'd left my hat at our table. Even though it had only been around 5-8 minutes since leaving, a member of staff had already stored it safely away. Overall, well worth a visit if you're in the area. Not a huge menu but everything we had was excellent. The kids menu existed! and was nice and simple, and the food was all consumed. We ate early but they were good to us. Recommended.Food: 5/5

Good value. Relaxed dining. Staff who care and know their stuff and a chef who keeps it simple and delicious. Mediterranean magic. Would recommended this busy well run restaurant.

Best cafe/restaurant in dorking. The staff are kind friendly and nothing is ever too much to achieve. There food is of the Highest standard by far the best place to eat breakfast in town. I love it!
