I bought 7 box of commercial knives and after a single wash they all got rusted. I called them and they said that it’s my fault. I have contacted the authorities to del with this malpractice of Australian consumer law. Do not aspect any customer service if something goes wrong.
Placed order and paid for it using Nisbet’s web page then credit control dept emailed demanding more info BEFORE they would release product. All info asked for was provided on the web form. I rang tel number on email and asked why - she could not explain why and then offered to cancel order !!! so I did. I’m sure the boss - despite being one of the richest people in Australia top 100 in UK - will want to know why such an invasive approach and why so much arrogance from the credit dept when order had already been paid. Maybe size and wealth breeds contempt
Roger, Desi and Clinton were extremely helpful and had strong product knowledge on the stand blenders to help with my purchase. They were all friendly, easy going and professional. Definitely will be back.
Really disappointed by the customer service i cam all the way from west to south melbourne to pickup can opener and i reached there exact 5pm and door was opened they said the till is closed. I requested them even i can pay cash i needed in urgently. I even called them before reaching its really shame even after requesting them that many times they still didn't shown any respect and humanity. Will never go there back.
I was expecting an item to be delivered considering their standard delivery time i.e. within 1-2 days for Melbourne. But it is not the case in reality. It is been 5 days since I made my order through their website, so far NO shipment details received yet. I have an event planned this Sunday and ordered an item based on their delivery information, so that I will have the items before the events. But highly disappointed with the service offered.
What’s happened with this place? Placed an order 3 weeks ago off their website, a week ago i sent an email asking why I haven’t received tracking etc. No response, I followed up with a phone call 4 days later and was on hold 22 minutes without even speaking with anyone, I gave up as I had other things on. Inboxed their Facebook page. Re emailed. Finally got a response which said we will check with ordering department… that was a couple days ago. I’ve emailed asking for a refund since but no response with either. It’s not acceptable customer service at all.
Nisbets is clean, well set out and well-stocked. It was easy to negotiate the aisles. Jess and Leon were really helpful and left what they were doing to help me find exactly what I wanted. All staff were friendly. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on their website. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for catering and hospitality items. Marilyn Seen
They advertise sales, we order, we wait only to be advised after a month that they will no longer stock this product. After 3 weeks waiting I called customer service chasing up my order only to be advised that stock would be in at the end of the month. I followed up again at the end of the month to be advise that they no longer stock this product. What a fraud. Keep clear people.
Love this place, some great commercial kitchen stuff, polar g series fridge on display and just in general lots of great stuff for hosting events or stocking up your kitchen with high quality stuff
So many wonderful kitchen appliances and tools, very difficult to resist buying as there so many interesting temptations.. Helpful staff.
