Over 35kg of wooden tallboy delivery carried by two strong male was prepared to leave just right inside my door unboxed instead of unboxing n place in my bedroom. They were ready to leave. I had to force him few times to unbox it n moved the tallboy to my bedroom unless I would not let him out of my door.For such horrible delivery n customer service I will never return again. Please note I paid $60 delivery surely I was expecting excellent delivery service. Worst experience ever in my whole life. If u are taking money from your customer. Please provide some customer service.otherwise u are just scaring all your customers away. Thank you.
................NEVEREVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE........ Absolutely shocking, do not recommend this store, worst customer service I have ever experienced in New Zealand. They completely unprofessional and pathetic. They play a good trick when selling something. I bought a mattress which was kept upside down and had a very small hole in it which was not noticeable because it was covererd with brown cover. I spoke to the lady named Irene just 20mins into taking the delivery home unpacking it where I saw this small damage. She was basically telling me that it was caused by inappropriate handling, transporting and moving. If that was the case the whole mattress would have been damaged in this process. Without wanting to understand she was laughing. Never ever buy any single product from this store they trick you to check everything in store before buying. But people would not really open and check what has happend inside which they take a huge advantage. These guys are just #$#$#*&*@. Extremely Disappointed
PATHETIC!!... is the word for their custoemr service. Lived all my life in NZ NEVER experienced such customer service and people. Hideous. Bought a mattress checked before taking it but how do you expect to check thoroughly when they've sealed the quarter of the bottom with some wrapper that's not transparent. When emailed and called them back the same day was accused rather than coming out with a solution or replacement because there is a hole in the mattress. I went in the store and the person started shouting in front of the customers how is that even tolerated here...the first day I visited I saw him doing the same thing with another customer. If you don't want to invest and regret by ruining your days don't ever buy things from this store. I was polite until he raised his voice and all I asked for was a solution rather than accusing without hearing or even looking into the matter and the defaulted product. Ridiculous experience!
Awesome experience shopping at this store. We were looking for a new bed and as soon as we walked in the staff were friendly and attentive. We settled on a Super King bed at a very affordable price which was delivered the next day and is so comfortable its hard to get out of bed in the morning lol. This shop made the stress of choosing a new bed easy.
I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for great service and great pricing on furniture without compromising on quality! The staff are just lovely and really responsive and everything was seamless from purchase through to delivery. Thank you for the great experience to all the team at New Moon!
Absolutely shocking, do not recommend this store, worst customer service I have ever experienced!! They completely unprofessional. I bought my dinning chair from new moon furniture and we found color veriation on chair after 2 weeks I have explained everything to the customer support people and they said bellow ans to me " I am sorry to know that the chairs' colour got lighter even you didn't do any of these, so I am sorry I can't give you anymore advice. Please kindly seek professional advice if its needed. I am sorry that I can't help you in this case " Never ever buy any single product from this store bcz they always expect that customer should check everything on store before buying then they should never come back to the store again. Extremely Disappointed
We bought a sectional sofa and the quality is amazing and the price was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful giving you all the information before you even think to ask the question. Communication was easy and clear right the way through. And the gentlemen who delivered was on time, friendly and went out of his way to help us get our sofa where we wanted it. I can not find one fault with New Moon. I highly reccomend and look forward to returning!
On 30/12/21 - Absolutely shocking, do not recommend this store, worst customer service I have ever experienced!! I saw a headboard I really liked, however was unsure if it would go with the colours in my room. I asked the sale assistant if I could buy it however return it if it didn’t match. He went and spoke with his manger, he returned and said yea but if you return it you have to pay 30%. I asked what for, he failed to explain why and said “I don’t know my manger just said” I asked if I could speak to her however he goes no she doesn’t like to talk. Will never return to this store. In response to your reply; Wow! I am shocked that you sit there and lie! I was never told any of that! If I was, why would I write this review? Fortunate for me my mother was with me and also heard the conversation, unfortunate for you that you're caught out on lies!
Awesome, I messaged last night about a bed, brought online this morning and then received a text at 1pm asking if they could deliver between 3.30pm and 4.30pm same day. Bed was delivered at 3pm awesome service highly recommended and this all done under level 4. Thank you so much, my daughter is over the moon with her bed
I went in with my parents for a new bedroom suite after visiting about 4 other locations prior to New Moons Furniture. Ended up purchasing the full bed suite for the solid bed, solid furniture, with new mattress and delivery. Our sales agent was able to assist us fairly quickly and then for delivery it was initially planned to be delivered on the Saturday 5 days later however they had an opening the next day and Irene reached out and asked if we wanted it earlier, which we took happily. Delivery was planned for the next day after purchasing and they had given us a set time however about 10 minutes into the set time Irene called us to let us know the delivery would be running 20 minutes late. It was mentioned in the store that they drop it to the door however they did assist my father with bringing it into the lounge so i really appreciated this. Also we set it up about 2 days after delivery and i put the bed together however struggled with exactly where to screw the mirror together, reached out to Irene via phone call and she sent me an image of exactly where from the one in the shop within the hour. - Suggestion for the supplier of this product that the manual be provided just to assist with the setup. The key thing for me here is the good customer service and also the clear communication for follow ups which i really appreciated. Haven't had any issues with the product yet 1 month in so can't talk about the follow up service for warranties hopefully won't need too as it's solid wood. THANKS AGAIN team
