Delicious authentic Indonesian food in the middle CBD, the food here made me feel like I was back home.the staff very friendly and nice. The taste is good and not too pricey. Worth to tryFood: 5/5
For the love of indonesian food we went and tried this amazing place and got our perfect share of spice. We tried the tahu isi which in my opinion was one of the best i have ever tried in any part of the world including bali. Apart from that we ordered bakar ayam and mie goreng. Love the fact they sell sambal which is just absolutely divine but unfortunately forgot to take pics coz we were famished and dived straight into business. But definitely a good find and will go back when we go back to melbourne

Flavour was great but some of the meat was overcooked and dry. Edit: Added a picture. I had 1 meat and 1 veggie and the 2 pieces of chicken were awfully dry. The potatoes were nice and quite spicy. My friend had the beef dish and it was also very dry :

The "new" Nelayan restaurant is waaay much better. They still have ala carte food but also have some different menu too. They also sells Snacks and their sambal near the cashier. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The food taste FRESH and delicious. Good place to eat with your friend or family.
Came in with some uni friends on recommendation from one of our friends and the food was bussin They can make some really good chicken. Tried their logam drink too! Not for everyone but I liked it!! The actual fruit is less sweet than the drink tho for me at least Dietary restrictions: Halal!!!
The venue had been renovated & was much more modern these days but food options esp ones off the bain marie remained pretty much the same over the years. A decent option for a quick, pretty authentic Indonesian meal.Food: 3/5
Delicious authentic Indonesian food right in the middle of the CBD. The price of the food is very good roughly $20 for my meal. It was both filling and delicious. Would definitely eat here as a regular.Food: 5/5
Found this place while hunting for Indonesian food. The food tastes fantastic. I like the way you can choose the items on your plate. The meats are fresh and juicy. Welcoming service with a down-to-earth personality. The Dining Hall is big with many tables. No outside seating is available due to the prime location. Good place to try Indo food in Melbourne CBD.
