One of the few Chinese restaurants that serve halal food. They have other branches including the CBD. The food is great, noodles are spot on in terms of chewiness and flavour. The lamb skewers are soft and juicy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for Chinese Halal food.

I love this place! Fast food at *very* reasonable prices with responsive waiters. Free water and glasses. An absolute must to try out. But beware! If you live a distance away from the restaurant, go to one nearer you... Otherwise you will be hooked, and need to travel many k's to get here every week, or other week! Since I first ate here, I have probably been on average back at least once a fortnight.

Very authentic uyghur home style cooking. Large portions and priced reasonably according to portions but not fast food cheap. Expect to pay 20-30 pp for a proper meal. Bring a few friends as portions are big.
Decor is very average and feels like a street stall but makes it more authentic so no complaints. Service is really good when quite but can be understaffed. 

Heavily orientated around chicken and lamb dishes. Very few vegetables or seafood options and most seafood options are not recommended. 

Best lamb kebabs/skewers in Melb. Currently 12.5/5 skewers. So very cheap as well. Meat is tender juicy with just the right amount of fat mixed in and heavily spiced but not too hot. 

Our other regular dish is the big plate of chicken. Chicken pieces with thick hand cut noodles and potatoes. Spicy but really good. Huge portions.

We ordered a big variety of dishes. Every dish was bit too salty, and prawn dish and was disappointingly cooked with cucumbers. They were just the frozen cheap peeled prawn variety. Lamb skewers and bbq lamb ribs were the best hit though.

Huge servicing sizes, fast service. Place can get quite hot on a hot day. Dishes are hearty and comfort food. Not a place to come looking for a salad or vegan options. Highly recommend the lamb skewers. Suggest going here with a largish group so you can try different bits and pieces.
