Famili Ria — Indonesian comfort that feels light and real.nnWe ordered the Pempek Sampler, Nasi Goreng, and Nasi Ayam Bakar Pedas, and everything tasted genuinely good — flavourful, comforting, but not heavy. That’s rare for me, because most Indonesian food tends to leave my body feeling a bit salty or weighed down. This one didn’t. It felt balanced, gentle, and satisfying.nnThe Pempek Sampler was a great choice — I got to try all the different kinds in one go, and every piece had its own taste and texture. My favourites were definitely Panjang, Bulat, and Keriting.nnThe Nasi Ayam Bakar Pedas was more sweet than spicy — still delicious, just softer than I expected. Next time, I’ll go for the option — Nasi Ayam Sambal Ijo, for that perfect sweet-spicy balance I love.nnEverything here tasted fresh and thoughtfully made — light on the body, warm on the soul. I’ll definitely come back.
This 'pempek' restaurant make me feels like coming home. I chose pempek sampler and very happy. They are perfectly golden, soft, and full of comforting flavours that taste just like back home. Plus teh botol. Perfect match!

So far this is the best empek empek i could found around Melbourne. and this time i also add tekwan in my order list and the taste… it was fantastic.nso my reccomend here.. Try the Fishcake. If you like spicy, ask the spicy dipping sauce for the fishcake. You wont regret it
