What a lovely little place! The stuff is very welcoming and so patient with the children! There are lots of friendly cats very well looked after and cared for. The room is cosy, plenty of space to play and get to know all these cuties!! I'm so glad I bumped into this shop today. There is a small fee to pay ($5 children over 2 and $7 adults for half hour), it seemed to me a more than reasonable price to support this new little business. Also booking is recommended!

The is a major destination spot for cat lovers visiting Wellington and the Hutt Valley. The staff are friendly, the food excellent (ooh the cakes!!) and the coffee fantastic. The cats are all friendly and interactive, but there is also a quiet space away from the public if they get a touch of popularity overwhelm! These cats are well cared for.

There is also a selection of the nicest kitty retail shopping you could hope to find. A focus in made in New Zealand, and quality Japanese cat merchandise means you will adore this place from the moment you enter.

We very much enjoyed our time at this cafe! My friend and I took our kids -- as we are not able to have pets in our rentals. We love cats, and this gives our kids a great opportunity to hang out with the cats. We got to chat, have a nice cuppa with some lovely food, and I did a little work using the free wifi. I was particularly chuffed with Poppet came to snuggle up while I was working! A lovely spot to visit!

Have just spent an hour of bliss at Neko Ngeru Cat Cafe.  Some people spend their money on a coffee fix.  I spend mine on a cat fix (though of course you can get coffee there as well!)   I love cats but can't have one at home, so it's great to go and just pat a cat (and have someone else clean up after them).  I think there were about eight cats there today, a couple of them are really playful - the favourite toy of the day was a simple household bag tie.  But I was in absolute heaven when Mollie came and snuggled up on my lap.  My second visit, and I will of course be back.  I am hooked.
