My Mum was taken to emergency in January.The nurses particularly Male nurse on night duty was so caring & professional. They gave her so much attention & really got her settled. Moved into MAFU again very caring & professional. Can't Thank them enough. Great team in both these areas. Good Work Nambour!
I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional care I have consistently received at Nambour General Hospital. Every time I have needed their services, I have been treated with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness.nnFrom the Emergency Department to the Endoscopy Unit and the Mammogram Department, the staff have always shown professionalism, compassion, and patience. They take the time to explain everything clearly, make me feel comfortable, and provide care that truly reflects their dedication to their patients.nnIt is reassuring to know that whenever I need medical support, I can rely on such an outstanding team. Thank you to everyone at Nambour General Hospital for the excellent treatment and the wonderful way you care for your community. I am truly grateful.
I called a ambulance because my friend had passed out while i was visiting, they took 40min to arrive as he laid on the ground going in and out of consciousness... he was unable to move or communicate properly, the ambulance people were some of the worst I've seen, they had no sympathy that he couldn't lift his head let alone get himself on the stretcher... when they finally got him in the ambulance 30min later, he kept saying taking him to a hopital won't help and it wss a waste of time.. they ignored him too him anyway... he was right, he spent 6hrs at nambour emergency and had ct scan, blood work done and was sent home with nothing to show for it.. the dr was useless as she needed to see him walk before could leave, then she left him in the bed for an future 2.5hrs before he had had enough of listening to a screaming old lady and drugged up junkies... he finally got the attention of a nurse to lower the railings of the bed and unplug all the monitors so he could atleast sit up and get out of the bed..nnWhat a waster of time, he was given nothing for his pain and he was given no results until he asked for them.. this hospital is a waste of space and needs to be severely monitored better.nAs he kept passing out throughout his visit.. no one was there to monitor him..
I was at the emergency room in the early hours of Wednesday, and I would really like to thank all the professionals who were there.nI felt really well looked after, and that means so much — especially when you're in such a vulnerable situation.nMy special thanks go to Nurse Mitchell, who was so professional, calm, and kind.nThe lady who did the triage was also really lovely, but unfortunately, I don’t know her name.nIt truly means a lot.nThank you so much to the whole team who took care of me that night.
my wife suspected a bloodcloth in her leg so we were advised to see the emergency hospital . She was seen by a registered nurse, three doctors and a sonologist . Everybody was extremely friendly, thorough in their analasys, highly professionell and very caring , a big thank you to all for doing such a great job
