Went out at 7am on Sunday morning and was served by Kim who was very helpful. Bought some of the most beautiful pacific oysters, a kilo of prawns and some tuna sashimi. The food was great and I have nothing but good things to say. I even was assisted to the car by Kim thats her walking away in my photo. Recommend these guys highly and their fresh seafood.
Absolutely disgusting service today from both one of the female staff from an asian background and male staff with glasses. If you are going to gossip and talk badly about your customers, please do it in private. Customers are not stupid and we can tell you are talking badly about us when you keep staring and pointing. I didn’t realise it was such a sin to ask if you take cash or if you have any ice for a packet of mussels as the weather was so hot. There are so many more better stores inside the fish market with better service. I strongly recommend everyone go there instead!
Very friendly staff. Excellent customer service. Clean and well organised. The price is reasonable and cheaper than in other shops. We have been buying seafood from this shop for years. We are never disappointed.
Absolutely no customer service from the guy serving us with glasses. Out right rude! Won’t b coming back. Avoid going here and go into the market itself, better service and more choice.
Bought 2 times Sea Urchin Roe in a packed and when i got home and open the packed it was disgusting.. the smelling like rubbish, it was impossible to cook or even think to eat. I can understand if happens one time but not two times between 4 weeks.
Smallest of the retailers at the markets, but best value for whole fish and sashimi. I always go there first before looking at the others
Great selection of fish some of which are suited for sashimi. Just picked the slab you want, and let the staff know how much you want. You can even request thick or thin slices. The place does get very busy so might want to try and make your decision quick, so as not to hold up the crowds that will form.

Just had the worst & most wired shopping experience here today - I went in and asked a girl if I can get some prawns, she told me the person beside me should be served first. That’s ok, maybe she came earlier so I just waited. During the next 15 minutes when I was waiting, I tried to get help multiple times but could not! When I saw a guy just finished serving some other customer, I asked him can you help me get some prawns? He said to me “you know, everyone needs to wait” Then he’s gone! After another 5-10 minutes, the girl came back, again I asked for help, and again she told me the person beside me should be served first! WHAT??? I got angry at that point! The person beside me came in around 2 minutes ago, and I already waited almost 20 minutes!!! Plus, didn’t you say the same thing to me earlier?? The server’s name is Jeniver 58 as shown on receipt. She still served me coz the person beside me confirmed her I was there earlier, but can you help me understand what happened? How do you decide who you want to/don’t want to serve? For whatever stupid reason, something very wired going on in your shop & you’ve got very rude staff! I don’t want to believe it’s racism but what else could it be???
I have just tried to enjoy the WORST flounder I have ever consumed. It was tasteless, watery, and I suspect it had been frozen. I purchased it from MUSUMECI this afternoon and it cost me $14.50. As a pensioner it was supposed to be a rare treat. How dare you? The Fish Market is supposedly a tourist attraction, but this is just downright disgusting. Regards, Max Turner.
