Excellent displays and a great deep dive / view into some of Queensland's history. The Pandora ship display is really infor.ative and the interactive activities for the kids really keen the little ones busy. It can be seen that a lot of thought has been put into the displays. We went to the I srct display hat is currently on as well. A bit expensive to get in , but once again a great outing for young and old alike.
Excellent experience, very informative museum. Staff is superb and knowledgeable.nnWill be going again and again as there's so much to learn there.
Small interactive museum. Kids loved the hands on science room and the enchanted forest.nSpent about 2 hours here, we did everything to do.nLocals get half price entry, only available to purchase at door.nWent on Easter Sunday and it was very quiet which was nice as the kids could spend time on things they enjoyed.
Fantastic value.nWe were here for hours. Everything was interesting and informative, the kids had lots to do. We stopped at the cafe for lunch and coffee both excellent.nOne of the volunteers told us all about the Pandora exhibit which was wonderful to listen to.nI'm sure we would be here frequently if we lived closer.
Absolutely loved the museum. The story of the HMS Pandore is greatly narrated by audiovisual materials, text and original artifacts from the ship wreck. In the upper levels the natural history museum is also very interactive and explained, I particularly liked the exhibition of sealife and corals. Tickets for 15$ only and is suitable for kids as well!
