We came here for a quick cuppa while shopping. We had Devonshire teas with English breakfast. What you're given is a pretty basic set-up, but it is fairly cheap. You get two large scones and pot of tea for $6.90, which is ok. The tea isn't loose leaf though, which is a little disappointing. When we ordered, the milk didn't come in a jug, instead it was put in a takeaway coffee cup. I suppose that this is to be expected at a coffee shop in a food court. It just seemed odd that some of the order was given in crockery, but some wasn't. For example, the plates were crockery but the knives were plastic. The cups were crockery, but the spoons were plastic. Odd. We can't be trusted with metal cutlery? Their scones are lovely when warmed up.

Ordered a wrap for $7.95 and they offered a meal deal for $10 including salad and coffee! Salad was so fresh and coffee excellent as well. Very polite staff. Will come here everytime I shop at this shopping centre.

Are your customers usually not bring/use their own coffee mug!? The cashier looked confused when I requested to have my coffee in my own coffee cup. And staffs look not enjoy their job! No wonder why other competitors get more business as the similar quality of coffee & similar price with more enthusiastic & friendly staffs! Re: Kerin, staffs all look like have a bad day, they all look sad somehow!!! I would like to try different coffee in the food court, it's my first time bought from them, not feeling welcome from the cashier, and the instant thought was: my first time & last time to have their coffee in Miffin Time Miranda Westfield! P.S. The cashier serve me was a Southern Asian man! Not the Caucasian lady in the photo.

Had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience at Miranda Muffin Break today. I dared to ask for a receipt (for GST purposes to make a petty cash claim in my own business) for a cup of coffee and a cake slice, from the (new) middle aged Indian man taking orders at the front counter. I had to repeat my request for this receipt three times after being ignored, then was told that an eftpos docket was sufficient. Then, when I dared to asked to use the stapler to attach the (finally) printed receipt (aggressively thrust at me) to the eftpos docket, was told there was "no stapler". This stapler was in the cup holder next to the till right in front of me, where it has always been located and used upon request, by friendly Muffin Break staff over the many years when I have bought coffee there. At this point, I would have been content to end any further conversation with this unpleasant man, as I still viewed this incident as only trivial, and simply aimed to wait for my coffee order......BUT then this man escalated his aggression towards me. I was verbally attacked, scolded and accused of being "a rude woman obviously having a bad day", because I was "arguing with my daughter"; then told to "leave the premises"..... Which one should note, are located in the PUBLIC food court inside Miranda Fair, and I had still not received the goods I had paid for yet. I was stunned! As I was NOT having a "bad day", just a busy day (hence needing a short coffee break) and actually enjoying time with my daughter, this abuse and accusation had no justification. My daughter and I are still wondering what this rather bizarre encounter was about. Rather the opposite was true, I think: this man was the one having the "bad day"......but taking it out on customers. I also wish that this man's abuse was worth it for a lovely cup of coffee ...but alas, it was not. The coffee was truly awful and undrinkable. This man had gruffly ordered his young female barrister (who was obviously frightened of him....no surprise there) to make my coffee quickly: the result was a weak, cold milk froth with no coffee in it! This experience cost me $8.50. After years of frequenting Muffin Break, I will (justifiably) never return, but instead site my experience to as many other people willing to listen, as an example of a once well run business, RUINED by an arrogant, aggressive bully, who lacked the knowledge of how to provide good customer service or display basic good manners to customers or his fellow employees.

They've got the best muffin. My favorite is raspberry with cream cheese, THE BEST. But a few months ago, I chewed a piece of plastic, like about an inch. But, bottom line is, the customer service is also great. So everything's good. Still my favorite muffin.
