An artisan bakery in the the shire suburb of Kirrawee can be found in an industrial estate, in a factory space and it has a retail outlet out front. We visited a Saturday morning and the line was already decent, everybody up early for their bakery fix. The bakery produces organic naturally fermented breads, with no additives, using only, flour, water & salt and offers a range of different sourdough options from white to wholemeal, soy and linseed, olive and more. There’s also baguettes and English muffins. The Bread and English muffin was superb. I’ve also enjoyed the bread a number of times at cafes around Sydney and like when I see it on cafe menus. They front counter also showcases a range of baked goods including sweet pastries and cakes, muffins, plain croissants, almond croissants, donuts and morning buns. The donuts were great, tasty and fluffy with a light sugary exterior. The baked goods here are great and I look forward to returning.
One of the best sourdoughs in Sydney, no doubt. The sourdough hot cross buns are exceptional and I wish it was Easter all year round.
The best bread and pastries in the Shire! Their fruit loaf is just sensational. Once tried you will be back!
Excellent sour dough. It looks closed but ring the doorbell and they'll let you in. I'm told Saturday's have more of a cafe vibe with displays full of baked goods. I went early on a weekday and even inside it looked closed but the guy said they always have bread for sale.
A solid 5 every time. Best sour dough and awesome variety of other pastries on weekly rotation!
So blummin deeeelicious... the brownie and donuts are exceptional !!!! In my humble opinion I don't think you charge enough for the quality of your product. We would pay more for it that's for sure !!!!!!!
Was looking for a good sourdough for a while. Came across this store just a few kms away from my place. Went there after reading the reviews and I am enjoying my sourdough this morning completely. The store looks closed from outside if you go in the morning, but just ring the bell & someone will open the door. Glad ai found Thouroughbread.

The quality of the bead here is excellent. On Saturdays experience the croissants, small assortment of cakes and the most tantalising sausage rolls.
Amazing, go Saturday morning, the pie's are a must, almond croissant incredible, coffee is delightful. You can see why these guys supply Sydney restaurants and cafe's
