One week after competing in my first bodybuilding contest with 16 weeks of strict dieting, I came here for my first Sunday morning hangover feed and ordered something I'd been craving for so long - a full English breakfast. What can I say, this ticked every box of a genuine, true, authentic and delicious English breakfast. Everything on the plate was spot on and I wolfed it down, including black pudding for the first time which is hard to come by. The food here is criminally underrated and I will be coming back to explore the menu more.
Best cafe around. Their coffee is consistently great. It doesn’t matter how busy it is or who’s working the espresso machine, the coffee is great. Morning, Arco, week day or weekend it’s quality. I’ve been coming here for nearly 6 years and highly recommend this place to any newcomers, as well as to anybody who missed “the old team” before they “came home”. Back under the original owners, they gave this place a complete refurbishment in May this year, and with it came much welcomed food menu. Breakky and Lunch options both dine in and take away. Quality food, something for everyone, and great value. The only thing that outshines everything I’ve already mentioned is the amazing team who are friendly, professional and warm. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
The coffee is great, however they are unbelievably slow at making it. Avoid during peak periods because you will be waiting 15 mins for one takeaway coffee. There should be someone solely pumping out takeaway coffees.
Brilliant friendly service with friendly happy staff, coffee second to none and a menu which has an array of scrumptious, freshly prepared offerings that are served hot & full of fantastic flavours all in a relaxing beautifully decorated cafe in the heart of Sutherland!

Old owners are back! Hallelujah Great coffee and food...doesn't get better than this.
Driving down Boyle street, parking inspectors are here. Never fear, there's plenty of parking at the rear. Memories of darker days where dreamweavers ruled with muddled minds are fading... for the old owners are back! Locals can rejoice once more. Passers by take comfort in the happy faces of those seated within. The Crossing Espresso Bar has once again become the most divine cafe south of the equator, if not the North Pole.

Consistent, reliable coffee and my go-to cake shop in the Shire for Yael cakes in particular the blackberry cheese cake, carrot cake and mud cake. Owner & staff are always lovely and there’s yummy pies and sausage rolls as well.
The food was delicious and at a great price. The Breaky role was impressive. The place has an amazing friendly atmosphere. We are new to the area, and is looking to be a coffee and breakfast stop.
