@Terry Jones, I think I may have been the other person that you saw get covered in petrol because no one bothered to put signage on the bowser. Not happy 7/11.

Good to know your store's policy on safety hazards - no care, no responsibility. I reported a broken bowser (it was gushing petrol) an received a vacant stare and an 'ok' for my efforts. When I asked if someone was going to put a sign out so other customers don't get covered in petrol (like myself), I was told it would be reported to 7/11. (It should be noted that the attendant did not make a move to pick up a phone, despite the store being completely empty (no customers were waiting), so I have my doubts that it was actually reported.) As I walked out of the store, I saw another customer get a face full of petrol. If there is a fire, or a serious incident, is your emergency response plan to call HQ (whose operating hours are 7:30-5pm - 'cause mate, I tried to report it on your behalf, when I realised the task was too much effort for you)? FYI - broken slurpee machines should result in a call to HQ. The uncontrolled leaking of dangourous goods (flammable liquids) requires immediate action to mitigate the safety hazard. Just saying.
