Is a great little pub. They cater for the good old school patrons. Pool tables are excellent, and they have Live tunes every Sunday. We call ot the Su day sesh.
We had looked at having lunch elsewhere until a chance meeting with a friend, also a local, sent us this way for lunch. The variety on the menu is quite extensive and so is the specials board. If you're a seafood fan this pub is a must. From chowder, to shellfish to emperor plus more it certainly doesn't disappoint. Plus it also has all the usual pub faves schnitzel, loin chops, salads etc.nWe got our meals extremely quickly and the plates were cleared without delay. The grilled emperor was delish and the crumbed cutlets were the largest I've seen, you'll not go hungry after this dish. The atmosphere of the interior is the charm of old meets nicely renovated and it has air conditioning. Great place to eat and very friendly staff. Look it up next time you're in Gympie.
O M GOODNESS, how excellent was the service AND the food was absolutely wonderful. This is a definite regular stop for us from now on. Definitely recommend.
Awesome pub with great food. Would recommend the Lamb cutlets or Roast of the day, which was Beef when I had it. The live music on Sundays is also great.
