The Aussie offers great tasting meals from a range of Schnitzels, pizza, seafood to tender Nolans steaks. Join us on Friday nights and a buy a ticket in the raffles & support the Harlequins Cricket Club. Open for lunch 7 days a week from 11.30am and dinner Monday to Saturday from 5.30pm. Check out our deck, perfect for an after work get together, parties, birthdays or any celebration you may have.

We were on our way home from an awesome camping trip and wanted some good food, so we decided to stop here—best choice ever! The service was exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the staff made us feel right at home. A fantastic spot to unwind after an adventure, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!
This is our new local and we love it. My favourite meal is the French Garlic Prawns and the chef is always kind enough to let me swap out my salad for veges. I also have a real weakness for the onion rings with a side of aioli. My partner can't go past the country and surf chicken scallopini and prawns in a cream sauce. The steak sandwich is also really good. The ribs are amazing and the pork belly is also really really good. The staff have always been really accommodating. The meals come out pretty fast usually. The live music is always a treat. NYE had a very talented lady singing. We usually sit upstairs because we like the atmosphere and the are of the pub is more apparent up there. I've seen someone put a really bad review, but they said something about their buzzer going off. The Australian does not have buzzers, so they have obviously mixed up their pubs. I know this pub changed hands around August 2024, which is when we moved here. We haven't had any bad experienced and we eat there quite often.
The food was terrible. Our buzzer went off, we were outside. We took maybe 5 mins to go in. Then the chef yells at us that our meals were ready. He was extremely rude. The only good thing about our evening was, Liam the bartender. He was so friendly. We will not be back. Early hours in the morning, I woke feeling ill.
Went to the Australian for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised to see gluten-free burger options on the menu. Ordered the steak burger and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The staff are super friendly, the service was fast and the breeze outside was really nice. I'll definitely be back!!!
Over priced food.nNothing to write home about.nProbably wouldn’t feed it to my dogs.nHad better food on camp sites.nThe “cook” needs to go back to McDonald’s flippin burgers.nWould never go back.nAtmosphere was crap.
