Went here for lunch with my mum of a Saturday.nWhile the prices during the weekend are a bit expensive with the 10-15% surcharges, the food was absolutely amazing.nPortions are just right for an average person, and the food is fresh and tasty.nWould recommend the lunch sets, as they give you the best of what the place offers and a generous amount of foodnFlavours are subtle and tasty, and it was a wonderful experience. Definitely going again!nnThe coffee is good, had a mocha. Not the best, but definitely passes the benchmark for cafe coffee
A busy Japanese cafe with a variety of delicious food and drinks to choose from.nnThe food and coffee are tasty, but it would be even better if the Onigiri came with more flavors e.g black sesame and salt.nnThe staff is very friendly, and there are plenty of car spots nearby.nnIt's a bit pricey on weekends due to a 10% surcharge and at least 1.2% if you pay by card. Also, it’s quite busy over the weekend, so making a reservation is recommended :
What a lovely Japanese cafe tucked away in an obscure corner of the shopping village. I’m glad I found it today. The cafe is bright and cosy. The Takoyaki we had was delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate came with cute bear design. There’s some special items on the board. The cafe has however a 1.5 hour limit per patronage
July2024: yummy yummy yummy as always. Been awhile so had to hv my mackerel set. nnFeb2024: returned for another dose of good Japanese food. So yummynnThe chef may be Taiwanese but she has captured the taste and flavour of Japan in all her cooking.nnDelicious food and highly recommended. IMHO more Japanese than some of the other restaurants around Melbourne. My favourite: all the set specials . I try one each visit.nnServing staff are friendly and helpful.nBusy little restaurant so do book before going especially on weekends.nTry out their cakes - delicious and not sugar loaded.
Discover this place on a lazy Saturday morning. I must admit it totally blew my mind… perfectly placed Japanese breakfast, coffee art that makes kids love their hot chocolate, grilled mackerel that cooked to perfection, wagyu beef bowl for myself that uses real wagyu with Japanese rice. Omg I’m coming back for more!
