BALWYN KEBABS would have to be one of the WORST FAST FOOD places that I have bought food from. It is actually quite an insult, considering they have signs posted up about how they take pride in their customers and quality of food. I hope their kebabs are 1000 times better than their burgers, something I will never find out because I will never go back there again.nI went in on Saturday the 20th of July at around 1.30pm. There was one guy working there, he was on the phone the entire time, from the time he took my order, to the time he finished making my burger.nHe had wireless headphones in, but occasionally you could hear him talking in conversation. It was obvious that being on the phone was a distraction for him, as he tried to multi-task.nIt took him 14 minutes to make one burger, which I didn't even eat because I watched him make it and touch all of the main ingredients with his bare hands.nTHIS GUY WAS DISGUSTING AND UN-HYGIENIC.nHIS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NON-EXISTENT!!!nThe burger bun, which he put his thumb through, see photo below, he touched the lettuce and the tomatoes with his bare hands and then he drowned the meat patty in spicy sauce, a meat patty which was black and burnt and was hard to touch, because it was very very over cooked.nI watched him take the frozen meat patty out of the freezer with his bare hands, he put the meat patty on the grill and while the meat patty was cooking, he touched the broom and the dust pan with his bare hands, he cut meat off the rotisserie sticks with a small electric saw and then touched the bin, with his bare hands.nI was so disgusted and angry at the time, that although I wanted to say something straight to his face, I thought an honest review will be much more effective and help make other people aware before they order food from Balwyn Kebabs.nWHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!
Hi there,nI been 2 years I am the regular customer of Balwyn kebabs Doncaster road but I never thought of such worst experience. The story is I made a call and ordered for chips with can of sprite. Firstly he didn’t attend the call , on second attempt he picked the call and told me to wait for 20 minutes. After waiting when I went inside to collect my order he start shouting at me why you made a call just for chips as you know we are busy here and this is not the way to make online order for such small stuff. I was shocked what the way he talking about. After debate he said I have given you 20 minutes time as your order is ready but you need to wait that time frame. I told him that I am regular customer and had long affiliation with this shop you have no right to talk me like this. When I get my order the chips was cold not eatable . I want to mention here what ever the customer want to order it’s the responsibility of business to serve with respect. For now onward Balwyn kebabs will no more my priority. I am strongly not recommending you guys regarding the customer service and food.nI am writing this comment on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at around 11pm. The guy who was working there at that time refuse to told his name was in black dress with moustache and beard.nThanks a lot
I had a very bad experience with them twice, once i called, and ordered, Hsp when i went there to collect, they put Wrong Souces, when i ask them that they put wrong Souces, they said ohh , you can take dip from us and add on top by yourself, we can’t do anything now,nfor 2nd time i called them during night i called 3 times nobody attend my call when i went there, the worker were using phone , and i ask that i called you 3 times, and you Didn’t pick my call, he’s started aggressive behave with me, he was not doing even a single task there, just Using phone, and when i said ok take order, he’s treating me like i am his father Personal employee, and i left shop without order,nsuch a Very Unprofessional, bad attitude and dirty Staff they have no sense about Anything, will Not Order again in My Whole life there.nNot Recommended
Went there for the first time during lunchtime and this kebab shop definitely has a wide range of options from HSP, Burgers, Hot Dogs to Pides. I tried the chicken pide and it was pretty average.nnWill come again to try the HSP and the Zinger Burger
I ordered a hsp. Worst hsp ever had. Cold dry and for 15 dollars for a small atleast make it somthing good. 15 dollars on a hsp like this rather go home and eat some 2 minute noodles
